After years of construction and anticipation, Metro’s long-awaited D Line extension officially opened to passengers Friday morning, giving riders a faster connection between downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
The newly opened stretch adds three underground stations along Wilshire Boulevard: Wilshire/La Brea, Wilshire/Fairfax and Wilshire/La Cienega.
Metro officials say the expanded route can take riders from downtown Los Angeles to Beverly Hills in about 20 minutes, dramatically cutting down commute times through one of the region’s busiest traffic corridors.

Access Beverly Hills. How convenient for the folk who like to ‘shop’ ritzy stores but have no money to pay for the things they take.
Lots.
LOL.

Exactly. They are about to the strengthened by the urbanites who will descend on the place.
Even as BART, which was way more useful, is dying....
Good luck making through the trip.

By the way...diversity is VERY overrated.
And more robberies gangs much happy
The number of Beverly Hills residents who work downtown is going to be low. The number who will commute via subway is going to approach zero.
The traffic will all be one-way.
It was a joke, Beverly Hills residents weren’t waiting for mass transit to arrive so that they could get to their movie studios and corporate headquarters and top floor offices.
Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars......Gimmedats!
