The results of my subpoena of Congress’s sexual harassment slush fund are in.

Nine members. One thousand pages.

All records prior to 2004 were destroyed - which tells you everything you need to know about how long this has been buried.

We are reviewing every page. We will name all nine. We will release the full 1,000 pages - once we confirm that personally identifiable information of victims and witnesses has been properly redacted.

Accountability is not a threat. It is a promise.

Nancy Mace - following in the media’s footsteps - guilty by allegations.

THE ONLY THING Congress should investigate is just units of the federal government as part of their oversight of the federal government.

They are not the police (the executive is), the prosecutor (the justice department is), or a court (the judiciary is). They have no Constitutional mandate to perform the powers of the executive or the judiciary.

They should limit themselves to referrals to the DOJ for any crimes alleged (ALLEGED) to have been violated by their own members or staff, and making formal inquiries with executive governments units on all other matters they want to see investigated, either by the DOJ or the inspectors general.

They should spend 100% less time on “investigations” and 100% more time on enacting the most basic legislative requirements; reforms of federal regulations, the federal budget and spending allocations, repeal of excessive federal regulations, and cutting back on and downsizing the federal bureaucracy and the legal requirements for that bureaucracy.

When did Barney the Homosaur leave Congress?
If it was before 2004 he’s safe. Mace said records no linger exist prior to 2004.

Only 9. That seems low considering the number of creeps in elected office.

There were more. All records prior to 2004 were deleted.

It would take lots of courage to accuse a Senator or Congressman. That said, people do lie, especially in D.C.

Your point is absolutely correct, but it went out the window when Congress voted to appropriate taxpayer money to pay settlements in those cases.
