A bakery truck driver had a very scary situation that he didn't anticipate on Sunday.
The driver, Warren Boardley, had traveled from Baltimore to New Jersey, heading to his destination just off the New Jersey Turnpike near Newark Liberty International Airport.
That's when this happened.
🚨 JUST IN: A United Airlines Boeing 767 just hit a DELIVERY TRUCK on the highway while attempting to land at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey
This is INSANE video.

What happened?
According to Chuck Paterakis, vice president of transportation for Schmidt Bakery and owner of H&S Family of Bakeries, the tractor-trailer involved belonged to Baker's Express and was en route to deliver bread products to a Newark airport depot.
"The driver experienced a commercial plane's tires landing on the tractor or brushing the top of the tractor," Paterakis told ABC News.
Circled in red are the United B767-424(ER) main landing gear tires just above the bakery truck.
Yikes.
The plane was trying to land at the airport, but came in too low and also hit a light pole. How does one end up going so low? One has to think there are going to be a lot of questions that are going to be asked there.
Fortunately, despite the very scary hit, the driver, who was taken to the hospital, only suffered minor injuries from glass to his arm.
"The trailer is not damaged, and the bread product was not touched," Paterakis said.
Despite the collision, the aircraft landed safely. There were 221 passengers and 10 crew members on board, and no injuries were reported among those on the plane. United said the aircraft taxied to the gate normally and sustained only minor damage.
"Our maintenance team is evaluating damage to the aircraft and we will investigate how this occurred," United Airlines said in a statement. "We will conduct a rigorous flight safety investigation into the incident and our crew has been removed from service as part of the process."
Paterakis summed up how lucky everyone was, given what happened.
"Everybody, the driver and everybody on the plane, should be very fortunate," Paterakis said. "Because it could have been the opposite of what happened, and a little help from God went a long way tonight for everybody on the plane, and including the driver."
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board confirmed they are investigating the incident.

Is it real, or is it AI?
Unfortunately, that must be asked of every interesting video posted anywhere.
Boss. I got in an accident. I got hit by an airplane.
DEI pilot?
One of the best cartoons ever!
Seeing that it was on the national news, it’s real............

This was a 9 1/2 hour flight. I am guessing there was at least a 3rd pilot in the cockpit and would have been in the jump seat for landing..
1000 foot marker.
Hey, that really happened to me, years ago. On a rural back road in the vicinity of joint base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst in central New Jersey I saw movement in the mirror. Flashed by, before I could focus on it. Seconds later I heard a roar and an A-10 appeared ahead of me, at what appeared to be only a couple of hundred feet altitude. In a few more seconds another did the same. Since they were parallelling the road, I assume they were practice targeting my vehicle.
I don’t mind admitting I got very nervous when I would see a melanated pilot when I flew all over. Especially when I was reading the inflight magazine on United when the CEO put out multi page articles how the number one goal of United was increasing diversity and protecting the planet.
UH NO. I want to live flying. I won’t feel any better knowing a black pilot who was given lesser standards so you can celebrate diversity is the one who crashed a flight I was on.
Glad the driver is OK and the plane didn’t crash...
Seems to be a lot of this lately.
I recently flew from Denver to South Carolina (United) - the plane we were on was experiencing mechanical difficulties, found before we took off, Thank God. We were hauled back to the terminal, deplaned and another plane brought in.
My relatives were on a different plane at the same time (American Airlines) and their plane also experienced mechanical difficulties and was grounded as well.
We all wondered if it were due to DEI hiring.
It’s no surprise that nearly everyone’s first thought is “DEI pilot” when these things happen. Of course muh raycism.
And most times.... we are all correct.
EWR. Newark Liberty. A turd, floating in a porta potty, floating in a cesspool, in Haiti.
Most disgusting smelly airport I have ever been through. Every month I had to go through that dump when I commuted to Europe. The regional section was especially foul. Three toilets for the entire section and the toilets backed up so frequently some poor bastard was stationed in the bathroom full time just to unclog the toilets every few minutes. The stink was horrific.
That poor guy in the bread truck; “Another day, another job.”
I get a feeling he’s about to become very wealthy................
Pilot has to get to the jelly donuts, ASAP...
He or she will have plenty of time for that now................
Crashing a bakery truck? Pro tip: Next time wait until you reach the terminal. American cannoli are just not as good.
We're currently in a "Coulter Window" between when the event occured and it finally slips out that the offender is not a white man.
Coulter's Rule is from Ann Coulter who pointed out that the longer we go without being told the race of the shooter, the less likely it is to be white men. Corollaries apply to crimes other than shootings or politically inconvenient screwups caused by such things as Didn't Earn It (DEI) hiring.
This needs a clip from “405”
