The new film suggests that collectivism works well enough until capitalism gets its hands on it. Viewers reacting to the trailer on social media noticed this immediately, with one post summarizing the film’s apparent message with withering accuracy: “It’s 2025. And Animal Farm is a movie about communism working, and being ruined by capitalism.”

The real pigs are the one who have turned this tale into Communist propaganda.
oh not all the churches. China has a very strong group of believers. But I’m telling you, soon, very soon, that’s all going to change. The Antichrist doesn’t want people reading faithfully translated Bibles.
Get a copy while you can. A hard copy.
George Orwell turns over in his grave.
noone=no one.
So 77 years after Orwell depicted totalitarians revising history in “1984”, Hollywood Leftists are “revising” “Animal Farm” to invert the meaning for their propagandistic purposes. Is this ironic, depressing, unsurprising, or all of these?
The movie business is capitalist from soup to nuts, yet Hollywood hates its money-grubbing, amoral, ruthless self. Those who want to work in “the industry” have to sell out their “artistic genius”. So sad.
Woody Harrelson. Commie D bag
I am not familiar with the Catholic Church in China. I’m not Catholic
For what it’s worth, Orwell was (obviously) Anti-Communist and penned two satirical anti-Communist masterpieces, but he remained a supporter of “Democratic Socialism” (i.e. Euro-style welfare state model) and an internationalist throughout his life. Orwell was never a conservative in either the US sense (capitalist) or the European sense (nationalist).
It is literally Orwellian.
that’s a good cartoon. Sums up the theory. It’s like the Middle East. There’s always the fat guy on the pillow, smoking the hash.
Well, when you look at the crap they are shoveling out to America, at least they have one original created by their weak little communist minds.
Similar to how they used “A Bug’s Life” to hijack the fable of the ants and the grasshopper. They turned the grasshoppers into greedy capitalists exploiting the other bugs.
If woke gets in only garbage comes out. By design.
All I needed to see was the list of actors and I knew it wouldn’t tell the real story.
All crazy leftist.
Seth Rogan is a bore. Or is it “boar”?
Ran in to him once back when I made distillation equipment in Oregon. He is a dull blank slate of a man. I enjoy some of his acting but in person you would think he is just some crazy homeless guy mumbling to himself.
Precisely what Roger Waters did on PF’s “Animals” album.
From the Critical Drinker:
“Stalin’s cult of personality as a wacky contemporary animated comedy starring Seth Rogan, where the real enemy is a tech billionaire who happens to drive a cyber truck.”
I saw the trailer. It’s awful. I’m surprised Napoleon wasn’t orange with a bad combover.
