One person has been killed and multiple people injured during a mass shooting at a New Jersey Chick-fil-A.
The horror unfolded at the restaurant in Union Township on Saturday night, sending terrified patrons scrambling and the business into lockdown.
At least six people were shot after gunfire erupted at around 8.40pm inside the crowded establishment, according to RLS Media.
A local living a block away told the Daily Mail that they could hear 'a ruckus' as well as sirens blaring hours after the shooting ended.
The father of a Chick-fil-A worker said his son told him multiple armed suspects in masks burst into the fast food chain.
The anonymous father described the busy eatery as a 'warzone' and said several of his son's co-workers had been injured.
Another man whose girlfriend works at the restaurant told CBS that the group of suspects barged in and went directly behind the counter, firing multiple shots.
A Lyft driver told ABC that he was finishing a drop-off near the Chick-fil-A when he heard more than seven shots fired.
'I finished my trip over there, in the return zone. I heard the shots. When I finished the trip, I go to Chick-fil-A to buy two burgers - I see the police, I heard the shots very close,' he said.
The Chick-fil-A is located at 2139 US 22 in Union, New Jersey. The town is located just over 15 miles outside of New York City.

That was my first thought as well.
Rt. 22 west of Somerville is like a different world. The stretch through Somerset and Hunterdon Counties are actually nice and then as you get closer to Phillipsburg it gets crappy again.
” you are a pattern recognitionist!”
And Trained Noticer like Barney Fife.
The Brits love to bash anything in America, always have bad news their reporters are even worse than ours and they’re terrible.
I did, too.
How does this hurt Chick-fil-A’s image? Or do you just wish it would?
Now, I head to McDonald's as their lunch menu is being served and I get a Quarter Ponder w/Cheese, Fries and a Chocolate Shake. (If the machine is working! LOL! ;)
I’m so old I remember the Newark Philip Roth described, when the Weequahic High area was heavily Jewish, and the Roth nerds lusted after the Hillside cheerleaders. Although, by the I got to HS the whites were moving out and the black area was expanding over Lyons Avenue. The 60s.
Really?
Chic fil A will be fine.
We all know that a blue state is full of those folks who are thugs.
They never face punishment.
Well, I liked the island Manhattan. Smoke on your pipe and put that in.
But not anymore. Sigh.
New Jersey. Another “wrong place at the wrong time.” Don’t worry. Ditzy blonde Mikey, the Navy Rotorhead will fix it.
No, this will help bring together people.
Them...avoid Them.
Working Whites & Hispanics have been moving away from Democrats for decades, so they flooded the nation with destitute undesirables, a lot of them violent; with said violence encouraged and protected by those same Democrats.
I frequent get flamed here for pointing out white areas are the best areas and I don’t want imported or brown trash invading white areas. It is not hate, just fact based on observation and statistics. We are so “racist” every brown turd wants to move next door to us. Go figure.
Not only live near me...they also want to sit beside me in church...oh the horror.
I heard Ronald is out to fry the Burger King.

"Flame-broil this smiley boy."
