Taylor Momsen required medical assistance after being bitten by a "massive" spider prior to her band opening up for AC/DC in Mexico City Tuesday night.
It marked the second time the Pretty Reckless singer (and former Cindy Lou Who) was bitten by a wild animal while performing on AC/DC's Power Up tour, after having been attacked by a bat onstage in May 2024.
"It wouldn't be an AC/DC tour if I didn't get bit," Momsen wrote on social media while sharing a video of her getting a shot to counteract the effects of Tuesday night's spider bite.
"Its venom did a number on my system so had to have the wonderful doctors in Mexico come and deliver quite the shot before the show last night... add it to the list!"
According to SetList.fm, the bite didn't stop Momsen and the Pretty Reckless from delivering a 10-song set at Estadio GNP Seguros. They are scheduled to share the stage with AC/DC at the same venue two more times - April 11th and 15th.
As you can see in the video below, Momsen was mid-performance in Seville, Spain on May 29th, 2024 when the audience alerted her to the fact that a bat was attached to her leg.
"Holy ----! There's a ----ing flying bat on my leg right now," she (rather calmly) exclaimed when she realized what was going on. "Can someone help me please? I must really be a witch." She later revealed that she had in fact been bitten, and required two weeks of rabies shots.
The Pretty Reckless will also open for AC/DC on the legendary Australian band's upcoming North American tour, which kicks off July 11th in Chalotte, NC and is scheduled to conclude on Sept. 29 in Philadelphia, PA.

And her band, The Pretty Reckless, is a solid kickass rock band, well deserving of and an appropriate choice to open for AC/DC.

And as an aside. A shot of antivenom for scorpions or spiders in Mexico is 99% cheaper there than here for the same exact thing.

I know the name, but I know nothing about them. I even thought they were white, but looking them up, I se that they aren't white.
I thought the following was the accusation that was leveld against them, but I had to look it up to see if that was even correct.
Milli Vanilli was accused of fraud and deception for lip-syncing to pre-recorded backing tracks during their live performances and never singing a single note on their multi-platinum debut album, Girl, You Know It's True.
In fact I have never heard of this band; The Pretty Reckless. It's a hard rock band, and I have heard exactly 2 songs now by them:

Surprised that I have never heard of them since they have been around since 2009. But that Happens. I finaaly stum\ble across artists. They jus finally come up, or you happen to post something about a band that I 'v never heard of. At 73, I stll enjoy hearing someone I have never heard of. Just the oher day I learned of Rodriguez who came out in 1970, amnd was big in South Africa, & later Australia, but he never knew that until a journalist went looking for him in the 90s. Neither of his albmus or songs got much airplay. But hows does one sell lots of records, and never knows this. A crooked recod label is all I can think as the reason. He died in 2023 I think it was, at age 81.
So, thank you for introducing me to a few bands, as I have a collection fo over 40K songs (maybe even more), and I am always lookinfg for new music to leave to me wife's youngest grandson of her oldest son's youngest son.
Even is he doesn't like it now, he will as he ages and explores the collection even more. šš¤
Chocolate sux. . Vanilla tastes great. Fruit flavors too..key lime frozen yogurt is a great dessert. Or vanilla or Black Raspberry from Trader Joe. Lots of options for a healthful dessert.
Can’t even be in the same room as a pizza. Hated it since the first one I saw. That was in high school. Always required a barf alert for me. BLECH. Then I learned that pigs have higher IQs than dogs, so all pork is off my OK list. Not eating a collie either., bacon sux anyway, all that salt is disgusting.
Other Italian food may or not taste good, depends on the restaurant. I spent a month in Italy years ago, so got pretty good at ordering what really suited me. No super good stuff near me now. A tiny little Thai restaurant is pretty good, a larger pan-Asian restaurant has very nice waiters who give us the details of every dish,
My dad was in the restaurant biz, loved food, liked to cook, though we had a live-in Viennese maid who did it very well too.
There are enough delish things to eat, why worry about those you don’t like? And P.S, my dad and his company tried to buy McDonald’s when they opened their first store. I would never eat there but he didn’t care. Business is business. Too bad they didn’t accept his offer, I’d be really rich and the food would be far, FAR better. I can’t eat anything there, but their coffee is OK.

Lol. That crap is digusting. Almost 50 years ago I dated an absolute dancing machine, for a couple of months, that looked a lot like her, except she wore about half that much eye shadow, eyeliner, etc, and even that was way too much for me.
she was on a show with Blake Lively that helped launch Blake Lively (who has now destroyed her career)

Insects and arachnids are animals, as are worms, fish, and deer, to name a few. All belong to the Kingdom Animalia.
She was on “Gossip Girl” (the first one) but only for one season or so. One of those times when a child just disappears from a TV family.
