Brings to mind the Son Tay raid back in 1970 (Operation Ivory Coast).

Even though no POWs were recovered, it showed the North Vietnamese that we could (and would) go deep into North Vietnam. This resulted in the NVA consolidating many of the POWs into more centralized locations.

You would have had more trouble NOT trying to rescue the WIZZO. We go after that downed airman because we know they would come for us if the situation were reversed.
To NOT go after that wounded airman would cause critical emotional wounds throughout the services. The message sent, even in a failed effort, is that the chain of command values even the lowest service member more than a bunch of stuff that can be replaced.
Not going is NOT going to happen.

I've previously written that the take down of Hollywood seems to have begun during the 2016/2017 time frame. I've included a table of strikes that took place during the time elites were removed from Hollywood.
The first strike started in 2016, lasted almost a year and featured voice actors. I question the timing - 2016/2017 would be an excellent time to screen, recruit and organize voice actors ahead of the 'show' in which social pillars will be replaced with mask wearing voice actors to ease the public into letting go of their 'American Idols'.
Strike Union(s) Involved Duration Key Issues SAG-AFTRA Video Game Voice Actor Strike SAG-AFTRA October 21, 2016 – September 23, 2017 (340 days; continued for 8 months into Trump's term) Residuals for voice actors in video games, performance bonuses, and workplace safety. Writers Guild of America (WGA) Strike WGA May 2, 2023 – September 27, 2023 (148 days) Streaming residuals, minimum staffing in writers' rooms, compensation increases, and protections against AI use in scriptwriting. SAG-AFTRA Strike SAG-AFTRA July 14, 2023 – November 9, 2023 (118 days) Streaming residuals, minimum pay increases, self-tape audition regulations, and AI protections for actors' likenesses and performances. I believe these strikes were time shifted - for example I think AI rights were discussed in 2016 to lay the groundwork for the removal of key actors, experts and funding for Hollywood going forward.
Multiple pathways of digging lead me to this opinion. Other factors include the business model, the analysis of fans, event details (e.g., Oscars reduced who can apply based on rules, all cars parked on the street were towed prior to the Oscars etc.) and complaints about video quality at a time when technology has provided the best capacity for color, high definition and depth of focus that ever exited.
In this post I'll focus on fan observations of video quality.
Why Movies Just Don't Feel "Real" Anymore
Youtube Channel: Like Stories of OldThis youtube channel makes the point that films used to provide a realistic atmosphere by providing 'deep focus' which provided the viewer with much to look around and experience.

He says deep focus is now rare. Instead, focus is much closer to the camera and the backgrounds are often blurry.
The video uses many examples of this shallow focus the channel calls the 'cinematic look' which consists of blurry backgrounds and medium closeups.Example of blurry background:
Many other Youtube channels talk about the over emphasis of headshots and blurry backgrounds; it's a common complaint. I think this is in part due to the removal of massive funders supporting Hollywood's child trafficking and indoctrination aspects and because much of movies and television are created in computer labs, not on actual sets.
The channel asserts that ever since Zack Snyder became his own cinematographer, 'it feels like his movies virtually became 2-dimensional.'
I asked Grok about Snyder's transition this two dimensional style.
Snyder's first foray was a four minute short filmed on a cell phone in 2017. His full film transition to 2-dimensional style appeared in a film released in July 16, 2019 in his film ‘Army Of The Dead’.The Youtuber also notes that now scenery seems less realistic in general, with digitally enhanced images more closely resembling the fantasy genre.
Post processing manipulation has increased, with filmmakers able to delay decision making until after the filming has completed. The examples show post production replacements of scenery and costumes, but I submit they could replace the actors faces and bodies as well.

In an excerpted interview another man says that since so much may change in post production, directors are lighting scenes bland, flat and boring. He gives the example of a director deciding to remove a window in a scene, which would mean the lighting no longer makes sense.

Ironically, the original Wizard of Oz made history by bringing vivid color and clarity to the public. The two images above from an Oz movie named 'Wicked' are dull and dark.
The Youtuber makes the point that the newer films lack the tactile impressions (wind, rain, sweat, textures of surfaces etc.) that older, grittier films provided.

He notes the sweat and grit in the 1977 image provides the viewer with the impression of what it's like to be continuously exposed to heat in the tropics. He contrasts that image with one from another tropical setting in the movie Jurassic World Rebirth July 2, 2025
The author then contrasts the actual stunt used in the promotion of 2016 Assasin's Creed, which was a record breaking dive, to the finished product, which looks like fake CGI.

He and others note there are usually real big sets or no sets anymore- just medium closeups and blurry backgrounds.
I believe that not all movies are AI or CGI, but there are too many which are so that all films must 'dial down' color, clarity, realism, sets etc. to conceal those movies entirely generated in the computer lab. The viewer would take issue with the jarring variation in films in which some are dark, blurry and flat while others are crystal clear.
Dark dull lighting helps conceal the use of masks by replacement actors. Masks may also account for the dull flat lighting to conceal the texture and lack of perspiration and imperfections that modern technology would otherwise expose.
Nightime scenes are so dark I laughed when I first saw them. Some video channels compare the stark street lights illuminating the stubble on the face of a gritty looking private detectie (PRIOR LIGHTING) to the vague silohuette of a hoodie. Those complaints say, "They don't light scenes anymore." They are saying the camera was allowed to capture whatever it could in the dim light and no effort was made to illuminate faces or any personal aspect of actors.
There's a lot more to this issue. Hollywood has been purged of blood sucking Satanists and child trafficking revenue. One viewer noted that the red carpet at a recent awards ceremony was replaced with light grey shag carpet, and another noted that food service was Pizza from Dominos, a party sponsor.

With money and assets it would be pretty rote. Log the goings and comings of the neighborhood over X time. Mock up some type of service vehicle, roll in early on a Sunday, have set watchers and blockers, blast a WiFi jammer… Worst case scenario you might have to get rid of “a problem(s)”, but it would get attempted, likely successfully.
