It’s still too early to take much of anything the mediots say about the F-15 as accurate. Later reporting refers to both crew as “he” which doesn’t mean a thing. They can’t even describe the landing spot or the hide out with any consistency. First it was the pilot(WIZZO) climbed 7,000 feet up a mountain. Then he was too injured to climb very far. Then he was bleeding but patched himself up. The 7,000 number changed to yards. Then it was travel not climb. and so on.

I’ve seen one pic of the rocky range where the WIZZO was supposedly hiding. It’s not 7,000 feet high. He may have limped a mile and a half to get there. As I’ve noted before we will probably have to wait for the book to get a decent account of who and what happened.

And a bit of a side note about the WSO, WIZZO, etc. I recall the reference goes back to the Veetnam days when we started putting electronics guys in the back seats of fighters and referring to them as “the gee whiz kids”. And sending them out first to draw fire. Seems we’re still doing it?

Trump parked the US MIL on Iran’s porch, deleted their military, eliminated Khamenei and hundreds of the regime’s leadership, all within a few days, without putting boots on the ground, and then Trump squeezed them until they submitted.

Anyone saying we “lost”, is insane.
