To exactly no one’s surprise, it turns out that a vast leftist network, including the usual communist and socialist oligarchs, is funding the ‘No Kings’ protests.
I’m someone who suffers from earworms. As those who have them can attest, they’re no fun. A song gets stuck in your head and refuses to be dislodged.
Sometimes, though, it’s not a song; it’s an expression. As I read the latest exposé about the oligarchical leftist funding behind the “No Kings” protests that have been taking place across America today, two earworms clogged my brain: [videos at link]
Yes, two classic Hollywood scenes that target that moment when something happens that you’d already known long before, and that is anything but a surprise or a shock.
So it is with the revelation that the “No Kings” protests are not actually grassroots protests in which (mostly white) leftists gather on street corners, congregate in parks, and march down various boulevards across America to voice their horror that Donald Trump is president. They wear silly costumes, often loudly display their sexual deviancy, and generally strut around like the emotionally stunted high school theater kids so many of them still are. And naturally, they are a welcoming scene for people who are radically anti-American and antisemitic:

More than that, he’s done something no tyrant in history has ever done: He has shrunken the government that he currently heads and done nothing to prevent citizens from having guns. Guns in citizens’ hands, of course, are the bane of every tyranny. Trump is, in other words, an anti-tyrant.

There were three No Kings rallies scheduled just in my county in Florida. I did not go to see them. I wish I had gotten some pictures though.
I wish Trump would go Pinochet already.
The bulk of the crowds...paid...probably in the $400 to $500 range for a 5-hour experience.
Is that Tish James I see on the LHS of the photo?
The one thing that does puzzle me is why billionaires who made their money via capitalism now want to bring it all down. My only guess is that they want their goods routed through secure government contracts because that will require less effort...?
The left are earwigs.
I suspect in the case of Soros it is because of a hatred of God. Here he is , filthy rich , yet doomed to die anyways. In revenge he vows to take out as much of society as he can with him.
All foreign flags being flown.
I think it’s fascism. There seems to be good reason for billionaires to like fascism. The means of production are held in private hands. Government influence directs the economy is certain directions for the benefit of some parts of society (including billionaires). The billionaires help support the government just as the government helps support the billionaires. It’s a Big Club. And you’re not in it.
The useful idiots marching in the street expect people like Elon Musk to “lose everything” and that his vast billions will be redistributed to help underprivileged black children (although the lucrative management of that redistribution effort will be handled by privileged suburban white girls with purple hair). The useful idiots think that they are going to win big and be very moral and very important. But they don’t understand what the real game plan is.
Absolutely correct! It’s always about the Benjamins!
I keep asking, but never get a response: “Does ‘No Kings’ include Martin Luther King?”
No “queens”.
No Kings doesn’t even make sense. It’s like holding a No Unicorns or No Loch Ness Monster protest.
I don’t waste my time going to sporting events or movies, but I WOULD enjoy watching communists thrown out of helicopters from 5000 feet above the Gulf of America...
Wonder why the No Kings commies don’t use Lenin’s phrase “dictatorship of the proletariat”? Because the communist dictatorships in Russia, China, Cuba and elsewhere turned into into oligarchies. Irony.
Around 1970 conservatives were explaining why giant corporations were embracing affirmative action, being required to supply babysitters at work (daycare) for their employees and other expensive killers of business, the reason was that they were big enough to absorb the costs and burdens while the smaller competitors of the day and of the future could not, it restrained the playing field.
It was a form of pulling up the ladder and also as you mentioned they are already in a position to own most of their niche in the marketplace or with pairing with the government, no matter what, they are too rich, big, and powerful to not be part of a more restrictive future.
