One of humanity’s oldest and deadliest killers is staging a modern-day comeback.
The so-called “white plague” reclaimed its title as the world’s deadliest infectious disease in 2023 after being briefly overtaken by COVID-19 during the first three years of the pandemic.
And the US isn’t immune. While the country still has one of the lowest rates globally, cases have been climbing steadily since 2020 — reversing three decades of decline.
Just this week, in fact, the man accused of murdering 18-year-old Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman failed to show up for a detention hearing because he’s being treated for tuberculosis.
Provisional data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that 10,260 tuberculosis cases were reported nationwide in 2025, including a staggering 967 in New York alone.
But the real toll could be even higher. TB symptoms are often mistaken for more common illnesses like the flu or RSV, meaning cases can be missed or treatment delayed.
Public health experts say that’s a problem in itself. The longer TB goes undiagnosed, the more it can spread, and the higher the risk that the bacteria causing it will develop antibiotic resistance to its medicines, making it harder to treat.
The good news: TB is preventable — and with proper treatment, many people are cured. Here’s what you need to know about the disease quietly making a comeback across America.

Also known as “consumption” and “the robber of youth,” TB is an infectious disease that usually attacks the lungs, but it can also spread to other parts of the body, including the kidneys, spine and brain.

Here we go again, but tuberculosis is being constantly imported by the illegal aliens.
It is common in poor countries so most cases are brought in by poor “visitors” from the “sh*thole countries”.
And legal immigrants have to go through extensive health testing, before they are admitted.
So illegals again!
TB has to come from somewhere. I suppose if cases are reemerging from their original 1800s source, then the odds are that in the 1800s those cases arrived from England on the ships that brought over the original settlers, so we can make a case for the horrors of immigration from that.
TB did not fade away because of any bizarre natural immunity theory. It faded because it got understood. It would appear in households and in the 1800s this generator to presumption that it was family predisposition. The truth turned out to be that infection required repeated exposure and that took place within a family’s house.
The years of life remaining to a TB infected patient was found to extend if they got out of the city to clean air. And this largely was the cause of the interest in the frontier. Go West, Young Man! Was a mantra not focused on any frontier pioneer spirit. It was fleeing a disease that would take decades off of a life.

I remember a conversation with an Infectious Disease Nurse in the mid/late 2000s (circa late Jorge Bush or early Barry Sotero time frame). TB was on the rise in Kansas City for the first time in decades, and she flat out said that the main source was from illegals and showed me the data. If it was true back then it's true by at least a factor of 10 now.
I remember, a few years back, that I was chastised for daring to remark that an outbreak in Los Angeles for cholera was likely due to an insurgence of illegal aliens.
The Leftist rebuking my assertion was fully armed by the MSM reports that the cholera came from Jews who had been in Romania, not from revered Illegals crossing into the porous California border.
The mask I wore when I had to was the same mask I wore the entire time. Never cleaned it or anything. I survived. People went insane during Covid.
So the suspect has a crafty defense attorney who knows how to take advantage of a fake health scare.

I got the TB vaccine probably 10 years ago because it’s common among illegals in oilfield crews.
Vaccine is old school and been around since the 1920s. Mediocre protection.
Most doctors and nurses get it, along with prison guards and prisoners.
One of the subtypes of infectious patterns of TB was known as “scrofula”....The term “scrofulous” refers to a well infected debilitated looking person, and in the social context a morally corrupt entity. Like ALL modern democrats.
This is being brought into this country by the 10 million unvetted illegals Biden allowed into the country.
Remember the illegal that killed Sheridan Gorman a few days ago? He is now being treated for tuberculosis at a cost of $30,000.

Once again the ‘protein spike’ is ignored. The ‘spike’ are nano-particles that join together to make structures in virtually all your arteries, veins, within all human systems. If you have long CoVID you likely have spikes. If your physician didn’t mention it, why not? The spikes can collapse arteries, veins, lymph glands, eyes, ... you get the picture.

Is long COVID even recognized in common medicine? My doctors have never mentioned it.
I suspect that if I mentioned Long COVID to my doctor they would diagnose me with depression and prescribe SSRIs.
At least that is what happened to my nephews wife when she said that she was vaccine injured by the Jab.
