Michelle Obama is sporting a new look.(snip) Michelle, 62, was chatting with her brother and co-host Craig Robinson about her decision to get the new jewelry.
At the start of their episode, they chatted about things they’ve learned about one another since starting the podcast. Robinson, 63, cheekily said, “What I've learned is that you tried to get your ears pierced and thought I didn't notice. And I see you got all these new piercings in your ear.”(snip)
“I have always thought about getting some extra piercings in my ear and just never got around to it,” she said. “I had a second [piercing] hole that I had got before I had kids. But then I just got lazy and stopped putting an earring in it.”
“But nowadays, the young people in my life are doing more piercings. There's just more beautiful adornment,”(snip)
Robinson then asked how many she had, and Michelle said, “I was going in for a few.” But then as she sat there, she was telling the piercer, “ ‘Oh, put one there and put one [there]. Oh yeah, let's try one there.’ ”
“So in one sitting, I've got 10 piercings,” she said, and Robinson joked, “Ouch.” Michelle reassured him, “[It] wasn't bad at all.”
“If I didn't like it, you know, I would say,” Robinson said.
“I know,” Michelle joked back. “Barack, [it] took him a couple of days.”
“He was like, ‘You haven't had your hair up, you've had your hair down.’ And I was like, ‘I don't know. I like sleep with you every night, dude, you know?’ ”
She revealed it ultimately took him three days to notice her piercings. Don't tell him that I noticed before him,” Robinson said, before Michelle noted, “I think I did.”

I get the feeling Big Mike does a lot of piercing.

I was talking to a psychologist at the gym. He had some piercings and told me, “I just like the pain. It feels satisfying.” (Um, yeah.) A woman my sister had as a client was full of piercings. She said she had been a “cutter.” A cutter is someone who cuts themselves. She took up piercings because it seemed safer and was done by someone else under controlled settings. My sister described her as having metal all over her face and various other visible places. My impression of the people I have seen is that they are not people I’d want to have any sort of ongoing relationship with. As in, something is wrong in their heads.
