Updating the Memorial Wall (Vanity)

Dear FRiends,

As you may have noticed, FR's Memorial Wall hasn't been updated in quite a while, since 2022.

In that time, we've lost at least fifteen Freepers (probably more). These are friends who not only deserve a place of honor on the Wall but need a place where they can be "found" and remembered.

To that end, we suggest the following update to the Wall (posted in the comments below).

The tedious html work is already finished!

All a moderator--or anyone with access--would have to do is copy-n-paste the updated html into the existing Wall's code, somewhere after the most recent addition:

The new memorials should fit right in.

I have pinged the F1 list requesting their response if we should keep Chode’s photo an F1 car — I think it’s FANTASTIC!

My request to you is, if the support comes in as favorable, could you change to photo to a McLauren F1 vehicle?

Chode was a HUGE McLauren fan/supporter.

I started the FB FR group and later turned it over to Jim Rob who delegated others to run & administer page. 2 men objected to me leading that group as i was an “Anti-Freeper” they claimed.

Initially i had a listing posted of the members n FR screen names. Many objected to this and it disappeared along the way. I had retained a copy and it was on an external hard drive that was in my van(with everything else i owned) that was stolen in 2022

I still get to that page but rarely. Good people n posts. There simply are not enough hours in day and on my current situation Internet connections iffy

Im terrible with remembering names . If i cant get there maybe other more regulars can check in. Maybe the group would reconsider the addition of screenname/real name now that the two men are gone. One deceased n other “gone”
