Draining the Swamp and Reshaping the World
American Thinker ^ | 8 Mar, 2026 | Clarice Feldman

By patiently and methodically setting the stage, President Trump has realigned the Middle East, formed a strong new alliance against communism and narcoterrorism in this hemisphere, and is forcing power-grabbing federal judges to stay within their constitutional lane.

The Middle East

There are ridiculous claims about the targeting of the Mullahocracy. The truth is clearer: Iran posed an obvious threat to almost every country. In negotiations with Iran to avoid warfare, Steve Witkoff was informed by Iran’s negotiators that it was “proud” it had evaded all previous ”oversight protocols.” They bragged that they controlled “360 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium” from which they could make 11 nuclear bombs.

Not only did they have the capacity to produce these bombs, but their “attack potential at the start of the war was considerable.” Europe’s hesitance to act, in part, must reflect its incapacity for defense against this arsenal.

Roughly 500 missiles and 2,000 drones were fired off by the Islamic Republic in OEF to date. That number would have been much higher without heavy US/Israeli launcher destruction. Of the missiles ~71% targeted the Gulf region vs. ~29% toward Israel. Missiles are reckoned to be harder to stop and hence devoted to the hard target. Of drones ~95% were aimed at the Gulf region vs. ~5% to Israel. The UAE reports intercepting 165 ballistic missiles, 2 cruise missiles, and 541 drones (only ~35 drones penetrated). Kuwait intercepted 97 ballistic missiles and 283 drones. Bahrain downed 45 missiles and 9 drones (minor penetration at a U.S. naval headquarters). Qatar took out ~18 ballistic/cruise missiles and drones combined. Saudi published no numbers but their effectiveness is probably comparable. Although airports were closed there were no mass casualties. Gulf defenses, while not perfect, were good. Gulf states (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain) currently have

It looks like Europe has been transgendered and then taken over by those the transgenders are afraid of offending.

If Trump’s political party were in control of the Legislature, he could really accomplish something.

Trump has no political party. If he did, it would be like the AfD, a plurality but not a majority. It would also be the worst of all worlds, the equivalent of 1912 when Teddy and Taft split the normals vote and racist progressive Wilson lied his way into the White House.

“U.S. District Court Judges Being Forced Back in Their Own Lane”

Trump is winning on all fronts. Lawfare 2.0 has been particularly aggravating. The foreign Obama judges who are being overturned should be disbarred.

From the article:

“Steve Witkoff was informed by Iran’s negotiators that it was “proud” it had evaded all previous ”oversight protocols.” They bragged that they controlled “360 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium” from which they could make 11 nuclear bombs.”

When this first started I commented that I was not real happy about the decision to attack Iran, but that Trump knows a lot more than I do. This is one those things. You go into what you hope is a good faith negotiation and the other people start bragging about what they can do you the negotiating is not going to go well.

In a ruling from the Ninth Circuit:

”Our constitutional structure will topple if a single district court sits atop the President, Congress, the Supreme Court, and the federal appellate court.”

360kg/11 bombs = 32.7kg per bomb? Doesn’t sound very efficient.

Oh, right, it’s only 60% enriched. I think “Littleboy” used 93%?

I have the book, The Making of the Atomic Bomb,by Richard Rhodes. Very good book. I think it says how much was needed.

With a good design, they wouldn’t need to test it.

If this is Federal Judges staying in their lane, I would sure hate to see what it looks like when they swerve out of it.

Because the mechanism is not geopolitical. It is actuarial. And actuaries do not take calls from the Politburo.>>> I wasn’t aware of this but i went to cash (except Gold ETF) thinking that this mess will be a mess for a long time. Glad i did.

This idiotic, unnecessary foreign war in Iran is reshaping the world alright -- it's assuring our influence in it.

The Iranians would fight to the death to prevent us from picking their new leaders. There is no way we're getting out of this mess with regime change. That ultimately means Iran will be rebuilt with Chinese and Russian assistance.

And, economic harm done by this war, unless we get out before there is any more significant damage done to the oil infrastructure of the middle east, will result in $5 gasoline and Biden era inflation. That in turn will result in Democrats winning a landslide in November and impeaching Trump. He could end up being Richard Nixon in that scenario.

Time is running out fast to avoid all that and get out of this self-inflicted mess.

I love that sentence. I only wish the Democrats could lose enough of their hate to realize it and work with us instead of against us.
