I think it will go down like this, SAVE ACT gets passed, Trump endorsed Cornyn, we God willing keep the Senate, Trump fires Bondi and appoints Paxton be AG..all in all not bad, not bad at all, Paxton would be an amazing AG

I’d be good with that. I wanted Paxton as AG from the start.

“... Trump fires Bondi and appoints Paxton be AG ...”
How is it that we keep getting these swampy AGs? Sessions, Barr, Bondi. When Dems get an AG, that AG would prosecute the pope if the Dems thought it was necessary.

Yes, exactly. Might be a far better position for Paxton, after a face-saving move for Pam. What with Pam being kinda all about her face and stuff.
Having Cornhole still in the Senate would blow, but perhaps Trump could maintain leverage on him along with Thune and the Chao family. People have had about enough of their sht, frankly.

Senate is already -2 (Maine and NC), don’t know that I see any pickups. Ohio is shaky, Montana as well.
Are either of the two Georgia senators up for re-election in 2026?

My only issue is that Trump's endorsement for Cornyn should go something like this: "Cornyn has my full support to be hired as County Dog Catcher. He would be the best dog catcher that anyone has ever seen. This is good because he made a lousy Senator."
To: Sarah Barracuda
That would be great, but the likelihood Schumer would permit a vote is close to zero. But it’s worth shot before December in case the R majority is slimmed or even lost.
