Donald Trump-hating Megan Rapinoe has accused the USA men's hockey team of ruining their achievement of Olympic gold by laughing at the president's joke about the women's success.
Trump addressed the men's team in the locker room on Sunday after their thrilling overtime win against Canada. He invited them to the State of the Union before warning them he'd invite the women's team, too, otherwise he'd be impeached.
His gag was met with laughter by the US players, something they've been roundly criticized for ever since. The US women's team, who also beat Canada to win gold in Italy, rejected their invite from Trump and said they had other plans in place that could be rescheduled at short notice.
But now in a blistering attack, Rapinoe said the US men team ruined their own gold medal win by cozying up to Trump and made themselves look like 'clowns'. She also told them to have more self-respect.
Speaking to wife Sue Bird on their 'A Touch More' podcast, Rapinoe said: 'In what I like to call a classic "ripping defeat from the jaws of victory", the United States men's hockey team, in their utter moment of glory, childhood dreams come true, sensational, ruined it for themselves.

Patel was there for different reasons. The team knew he was a hockey fan and invited him in. What kind of fan would turn down an opportunity like that? The hate comes from the people who hate America, hate Trump and don’t want anything positive to become attached to his name. I’m not a sports fan. I could care less about such things but I see nothing wrong with what happened in that locker room. It was a burst of patriotic joy at a magnificent achievement and that is something I can support!
One look at that mug and you know why she’s not happy.

saw her on the Seattle TV news tonight with the local pro woman’s hockey team. She was at a presser, stirring crap up. The hockey players looked uncomfortable.
I don’t know if she has ownership in the team. But I thought (if not) “what in the hell is she doing there other than to be a sh^t disturber?”

I don’t know if he drank it or spilled most of it. US Men’s team won and he supported them. As the Brits would say piss off. IMO

It was reported that the head of every country’s domestic security was at the Olympics, keeping it safe for everyone in Milan / Cortina.
As the head of the FBI, it would make sense that Kash Patel would be there.
Plus, he’s a hockey fan and actually plays hockey. The director must have attending the Gold Medal men’s hockey game, and the players invited him into the locker room after the game.

You watch Jack Hughes make that winning goal after 2 plus hours of skating, shooting, getting hit, getting his teeth knocked out, team playing, giving the win to his teammates, the goalie, the USA, and try To put him down and no way.
They are allowed to honor the office of the president of the United States. They would have done the same no matter who was in the White House.
after winning the Gold medal for America the team invited the Gaudreau children onto the ice for a victory photo so they could share in the glory.
