Ted Cruz for SCOTUS
February 24, 2026 | Whatever Works

If a position on the Supreme Court should open up, I propose Ted Cruz as the next Supreme Court justice.

He’s 55. Should be good for a couple decades.

At least 20 years. It'll be a nice change of pace for Ted Cruz. He'll get to establish his legacy on the SCOTUS.

And we need someone solid.

Not another Kavanaugh. Especially to replace either Alito or Thomas.

Cruz can’t be confirmed. Most Senators hate his guts, so even a 51 vote confirmation wouldn’t fly with him as the nominee.

They may vote yes to get rid of him in the Senate. Especially if he's replacing Alito or Thomas so the ideological make up of the SCOTUS is unlikely going to shift in a particular direction.

Cruz has all the qualities of a dog except loyalty. He’d be sucking up to Roberts in 10 minutes.

How about Judge Aileen Cannon?

Cruz would be perfect for SCOTUS, but he would be hard to replace for the Senate.

** For what country? **

I hear you. His recent speech at Cornerstone Church.... He can go to that other country as far as I’m concerned.

No, CanuckTed was not at the time of his birth - his mother was a Canadian citizen.

Especially if or when SCOTUS ever addresses the Art. 2, §1, Cl. 5 natural-born Citizen question.

Secondly, can we afford to take a Republican out of the Senate?

But other than that...he would be a great SCOTUS jurist.

Cruz is a U.S. citizen by birth. For the record, an Art. 2, § 1, Cl. 5 natural-born Citizen is a person born of parents with no foreign allegiances. It’s just that simple.

Eleanor Darragh, the mother of Senator Ted Cruz, was a U.S. citizen when he was born on December 22, 1970. AI

Then why did CanuckTed renounce his Canadian citizenship prior to his failed 2016 campaign?

After the mother moved to Canada with her Cuban non-US-citizen husband, they both became Canadian citizens and officially eligible to vote in Canadian elections prior to CanuckTed’s birth .

She never filed the required legal papers to give CanuckTed legal US citizenship.

Ted is not a loyal type. I will never forget his behavior at the convention before Trump’s first term.

Nice attempted backtrack moron, and totally irrelevant as to whether he is a citizen today, and legally sitting in the Senate. You should probably quit while you are ahead and STFU.

Israel is America’s best ally in a region committed to the genocide of all Americans . Iran has killed more American soldiers than just about any political force in the 21st century.

Cruz tried nine cases before the Supreme Court primarily as Texas solicitor general. Two key cases are:

Medellín v. Texas and District of Columbia v. Heller

Heller is considered the current gold standard in the 2nd amendment gun rights. In Medellin Cruz defeated President Bush seeking to protect an illegal immigrant who committed murder within the state of Texas.

It would be difficult to identify a more effectively conservative politician in the United States. In terms of jurisprudence there is probably no other candidate that would be more conservative for the Court.

Reality is that Cruz is a sitting US Senator, and you a semi-literate walking turd.

"Cmon. There is no constitutional requirement for being born in the US for Supreme Court justices. There is for presidents."

Syntax much? This was your #11:

"He was born in Canada. He can’t be president."

Either you are going senile but want to maintain the Soros trolling check, or you are hitting the gummies, or both.

Because your 15 posts to the SOTU thread last night were a highlight gag reel of senility and impairment.

Your masochistic need for negative attention is like a troll balloon wafting down 34th Ave at Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. We can see it coming from blocks away.

Yet your debased behavior completely comports with the need for negative attention as the singular constant from FR troll to FR troll.

Recycled compost, boilerplate TDS MSM postings, repeated bannings, multiple fraudulent accounts, and yet all of the disruption eminating from only a half-dozen or so paid astroturfers.

But none of you read the fine print on your troll contract.
