(NewsNation) — “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie is weighing a permanent exit from the top-rated morning show as the frantic search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, drags into its third week, sources tell NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
Savannah Guthrie has been on leave as the FBI and authorities in Pima County, Arizona, pursue investigative leads into Nancy Guthrie’s Feb. 1 disappearance from her Tucson area home. It’s believed the 84-year-old grandmother was taken, and media outlets have received bitcoin ransom demands.
“This absolutely came out of the blue, and I think she’s really concerned that it was because of her job,” Froelich, NewsNation senior story editor, told “NewsNation Prime” on Saturday.

“Somebody might have seen Nancy watching the Today Show, seen Savannah come to the house, seen Savannah eating with Nancy at a restaurant, overhead Nancy talking to Savannah over the phone, etc.”
About a week ago it was reported that Savannah was blaming herself. She had had her mother on The Today Show often as a guest, and that might’ve brought attention to her. So there’s no mystery about their relationship.
“I suspect a ‘non-domiciled’ illegal alien.”
One on-site reporter said there’s a lot of construction going on in the area. Could be that one or two of the workers recognized an easy target (elderly, alone, partially disabled), and took the opportunity to make some money.
There’s a good chance the workers are illegals, and God knows they have no problem killing Americans.
Maybe everyone is overthinking the situation, and it’s just a case of Occam’s Razor.

But until yesterday, at every opportunity to be on camera, Savannah showed us her teeth in her typical “look at me manner”

Nancy herself was obnoxiously left-wing, too — an Antifa, MAGA-hating activist. Her FB postings were clear about that. IDK if they’ve been scrubbed yet.
It wouldn’t be a bad thing if we heard nothing from either or them in the future, ever.
The Propaganda Media spin doctors are going all out because they can't have the public clued in that Trump is right about these criminals, and that anyone can randomly become a victim. No, it has to be an operation; something with planning and intent.
They can't have the public become aware that it's some random heinous crime that authorities are unwilling or unable to stop. Because then the people will demand changes and accountability.
Yeah, I couldn’t quite remember but since he left bombs at both the DNC and RNC it seemed kind of unlikely.
