High-tech Bluetooth scanner used to track Nancy Guthrie's pacemaker signal via helicopter
Fox ^ | 2/14/2026 | Alexandra Koch

Fox News Digital learned authorities have used a high-tech Bluetooth scanner placed on the bottom of law enforcement helicopters to detect Nancy Guthrie’s pacemaker signal.

The helicopters fly low, typically in grid patterns, at a slow pace to pick up signals.

Fox News Digital spotted one of the low-flying helicopters near Guthrie's home on Feb. 4, just three days after her disappearance.

Just read an article that drones are better than helicopters at picking up Bluetooth signals.

What was the reason you had the pacemaker implanted ???

Well, I've had heart problems since I had a major heart attack just under age 40, in 1990. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't take drugs (a nurse at the hospital didn't believe me).

Based on a lot of testing, my cardiologist implanted a strictly defibrillator first in 2007. The device triggered a couple of times, and it was decided to replace that device with a pacemaker/defibrillator in 2008(?). That device lasted for 11 years with a couple of shocks in between.

In 2019 the VA implanted the Medtronics device, which my cardiologist described as, "the Mercedes-Benz of pacemakers".

About 2 1/2 years ago I developed what a cardiologist described as "extreme atrial fibrillation" where no blood was passing through to the ventricle and I passed out while driving. I ran my beautiful Jaguar into the back of a pickup truck at a stoplight and destroyed my Jag. It was in town and I was only going about 20 mph. No one was hurt from the crash. I later went to the Cath lab for extension testing, but no cause was ever found.

The battery is running down and so we're expecting to replace the device this summer.

The device was recently the subject of a recall. The leads that go into the heart on some people were deteriorating and if you needed to be shocked, the shock wasn't strong enough. I think the problem is with the leads, not the pacemaker itself. They adjusted the device to shock me harder if needed in order to overcome the problem with the leads. Hopefully, I won't need it.

I may have given you a bit more information than you were actually looking for, but there it is. :)

My guess now is it was intended to be a quick kidnapping but she died very soon after - not in time for a proof of life or a ransom . The bumbling killers did not know Samantha would pay a million for the body so they ditched it and bailed.

When I talk with people that have had significant heart issues, I enjoy the conversation and hearing about the problems of others.

It’s like therapy for me.

I was not in any real pain when I had my surgery, the stress and mental issues I had really did a number on me, I was fine for the first 1.5 days after surgery, when I saw the look on the face of the nurse when my heart rate dropped to 30/bpm I started worrying, after being told what Stage 3 heart block was and that I needed a pacemaker, I got this overriding feeling that I was going to experience cascading issues with my heart, fix one issue and another one develops.

Thanks for listening.

Yes, I’m always interested in the experiences of others as well.

I’m 75 now and I’ve had heart problems since just before I turned 40, not quite half my life, but a good bit of it.

How old are you?

Have you ever been shocked by your device?

I’m 66, my pacemaker doesn’t really shock my heart, it’s purpose is to make sure my heart rate never drops below 60/bpm .

However, when I went for my one year follow up, the Electrophysiologist’s Assistant saw me first, she had an iPad and connected to the pacemaker, before one of the tests she ran, I was warned that I might feel it, the next second it felt my heart got shocked.

I’m still hanging on to my theory that the son in law is involved or someone Nancy knew. I think maybe it was murder made to look like an abduction.

Haven't you wondered where the Kabbalists have been? You'd think they'd be all over the news about the missing mother of a TODAY Show host, with its Nest camera images and video of the perp at the front door who disconnected the Nest at 1:47 a.m..

147 -- it's not just a key timeline in Biblical history involving a famous midrash about a funeral, it was the 107th minute of the day of February 1st.

Perhaps because it's secular (= 114) news? Ergo,

what's The Point? Yet,

Our blessed sages teach us that the mitzvah of "shiluach hakan" -- sending the mother away from the nest -- is capable of hastening the coming of Eliyahu HaNavi and the Melech HaMashiach with the geulah sheleimah.

All of the redeemers ("goalim") are represented by the term א"ם.

https://shvilei.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/translation-ki-seitzei-5773.pdf

The masked man even had shoved a plant [צמח] right into the lens, into plain view. It was all over the [secular] news. The general view is that he was trying to obscure the view. Ironic, don't you think?

I might as well document a little bit of the information here, for the record. Sorry if there are any typos. The constant keyboard language switchbacks can get to be too much.

Add in the multiple search directions that seem to defy any investigative order, logic, or priority. New day, new landing spot. People have taking notice (the weird is the tell). It's like throwing darts, or spinning a wheel of fortune. Did you know that Pat Sajak's career (Alma mater: Columbia College Chicago) goes back to the TODAY Show, and then as the weatherman for channel 4, the LA NBC station?

TODAY's news is about tracking NG's pacemaker. More on that as per signature signage in a minute..

This article from February 12th shows a photo in front of the NBC channel 4 studio in Tucson:

BRING HER HOME

Well-wishers sign a banner that reads "Bring her home" and shows a photo of Nancy Guthrie, U.S. television journalist Savannah Guthrie's abducted elderly mother, at the KVOA newsroom, where Savannah worked earlier in her career, in Tucson, Arizona, U.S., February 12, 2026.

What about the name of the Pima county sheriff? Has he been cut off yet? Savannah was out there suggesting as much. Changes can happen in a NANOSecond. Early on, Daily Mail even had a photo of his giving a presser, such that his name was slightly blocked by the microphone. It could have spelled out NANCY for all anyone knew.

Here it is. It was captioned as TIME SLIPPING AWAY. (I've been nabbing this kind of stuff as it comes along because the items quickly go missing in the continuing updates.)

Then there are the references to scorpions, like here, or here in this very thread. And that the "mother and son" SWAT story from Michael's place/plaza had something to do with the address

SHADOW HILLS LOT 570

Old news by now. Does anyone really know what is going on?

Pima county was named for the Pima people. Pima is thought to mean "I don't know."

Makes sense, thanks to the Pima county sheriff who doesn't know anything. Elections have consequences!

***

For several reasons I won't go into as per this strange, ongoing story out of Arizona, yesterday I was inspired review the uses of the CRM 114 'Easter egg' device.

"These are usually inconsequential small elements like signs which are inside jokes, cameos or references to other works.."

It had fit in with the 'timing', because yesterday (Saint Valentine's Day 💌 💝) was Arizona's 114th birthday. Nobody knows for sure where the name Arizona came from, but it sounds like Eretz Yonah, regardless. (Columbia = "dove")

AZ was the last contiguous state to join up for what we know as the Lower 48 [= כוכב], CONUS. ⌛

Reversals of fortune:

NG had disappeared on Feb 1, just a few days after her 84th birthday, so if any news items for the 23rd anniversary of the Columbia explosion had been prepared or published, they went missing on account of the headlines about Savannah Guthrie's 84 YO missing mother. It must have been a slower news day for the Challenger anniversary on January 28th. Besides, 40 years has more of a ring to it than 23.

And it's not like anyone is going to add the 84 and the 23 together.

There's even a Wikipedia page for NG's disappearance.

Birthday: January 27, 1942.

Naturally, when I looked that up, the obvious question was what was the exact date that the first letter of "Moshiach's Torah Scroll" had been written in 1942?

Maybe it's out there, but I couldn't find it. In any case, the missing mother of the TODAY show host was born on the anniversary of its completion in 1970, 28 years beforehand. (9 Shevat, 5702)

(STS-107 was the 113th flight of the Space Shuttle program, and the 28th and final flight of Space Shuttle Columbia.)

Fast forward to 2026, and NG's most recent [84th] birthday again matched up with the Hebrew anniversary date for the completion of the "Sefer Torah to greet Moshiach", on the same day of the week as in 1942 (Tuesday).

As such, the Chumash lined up as well, for the parting of the Red Sea. Parshat Beshalach, 3rd Portion (Shemot (Exodus) 14:15-14:25)

That means that her last birthday marked the 85th reading in the annual reading schedule.

Signs for the number of verses in the parsha (116) --

י"ד אמונ"ה and סנא"ה.

(No background for any of this, so I have to look everything up. It's what it is.)

Yad emunah

The acronym סנא"ה really turned out to be a "deep dive" so to speak, with a particular twist on the samech.

But initially, I'd wondered what the name Senaah (filed as Strong's 5570, "From an unused root meaning to prick", thus related to Sinai and sneh) had to do with any of it. The Point?

The name סנאה actually popped up at the top of a search because that's the name of the new PM of Japan. She's been all over the news for being the first woman PM of Japan (the place named for being the origin/source of the Sun* ), and also for her stance on immigration.

As for the meaning of סנאה, Sanae (早苗):

"Now, already" (早) and "young plant, seedling" (苗)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanae

I'd also come across the info that

Reciting Parshat HaMan (the Chapter of the Manna, Exodus 16:4-36) on the Tuesday of the week in which the Torah portion Beshalach is read is a well-regarded custom and segulah (spiritual remedy/merit) for sustenance and livelihood (parnassa).

Which of course is a word play on/same spelling as the wicked Haman. Terrible person.

I'm stating the obvious that Haman was No Good (NG) inside, and was hanged on the gallows. He never saw it coming, never having suspected that he was No Good inside. It was that other guy, Mordecai, who was the bad seed. Same for all of Mordecai's people. Haman was busy casting lots, plotting evil.

The result was that it was axiomatically impossible for HAMAN to be able to guess the right letters, even though his was the very name of the game:

HANGMAN
HANGMAN

Soooo, now that Arizona is 114 years old as of Saint Valentine's Day 💌 💝, I had wondered last night if a "CRM" would suddenly drop down to complete an Easter egg signature sign for the Filmmaker's inside joke (His name isn't mentioned in this narrative) about the failures and danger of technology. Like how the filmmaker of BTTF ripped that off for use on the ginormous amp that became overloaded not long after Marty had walked in the door, tossed the key back under the mat, and called for the Doc.

(I suppose you had to be watching for the changes. Slower than a NANOSecond though, thus perceptible to the human eye.)

*The fresh face of the rising sun 🔴. As far as a 116 name sign for Beshalach, personally I'm going with Yinon. It's right in with the timing for when Marty arrived at the Twin Pines Mall in the early hours of 11 Cheshvan, according to Doc's instructions over the phone. Technically, Marty arrived at the mall at 1:15 a.m., but just as he reaches the sign, it changes to 1:16AM (ante meridiem)

You misunderstand. The star example was just that. A signal has 2 components, as far as we are concerned here: the useful range where it can connect to something else, and the detectable range were the signal can be “seen,” but not connected to. Its the later the LEO were looking for.

What is even worse is having someone killed over false/bad information reported by the press. From everything I've read, pacemakers aren't designed to continuously broadcast to a bluetooth monitoring device. It is scheduled by the doctor's office maybe once a day or more to prevent pacemaker battery drain. My guess is the claim that at 2:28 am her pacemaker disconnected from her phone was really a scheduled reporting time that failed and not when she actually left the house. That may have been at 2:12AM when the busted camera still detected movement.

Here’s the inside word from the guy that invented and built the detector. He was on a cable show last night. What the detector uses are high gain antennas and amplifiers - this rig can detect Bluetooth signals up to 800 feet. He also mentioned that pacemakers can send signals for 3 years.
