Yes, I’m always interested in the experiences of others as well.

I’m 75 now and I’ve had heart problems since just before I turned 40, not quite half my life, but a good bit of it.

How old are you?

Have you ever been shocked by your device?

I’m 66, my pacemaker doesn’t really shock my heart, it’s purpose is to make sure my heart rate never drops below 60/bpm .

However, when I went for my one year follow up, the Electrophysiologist’s Assistant saw me first, she had an iPad and connected to the pacemaker, before one of the tests she ran, I was warned that I might feel it, the next second it felt my heart got shocked.
