Scientists warn Earth is gradually heading toward the next ice age. Scientists conduct their research on global warming because they require evidence to show people that the Earth experiences significant natural cycles which control its historical changes

...Extreme temperature variations have occurred on Earth during the last few million years because of its extended Ice Ages which included brief warm periods that continue until now. Researchers conduct their studies on climatic patterns to forecast upcoming climate variations that will occur during the next several hundred years.

Earth maintains a constant temperature throughout time. The planet follows natural cycles which repeat approximately every 100000 years throughout its history of millions of years. The planet spends most of its time in a Glacial Period which lasts through Ice Ages except for brief warming periods that last 10000 to 15000 years. Our current warm period has persisted for 11500 years which indicates that our planet has reached its final stage of summer.

Earth follows its present orbit around the sun which leads to the start of Ice Ages...The solar heat that reaches Earth will decrease through this change because we are approaching a position that generally results in cooling.

..The planet's tilt determines the amount of sunlight that reaches both its North Pole and South Pole areas. The Northern Hemisphere receives less summer sunlight at this particular tilt angle which leads to snow accumulation and eventual development of substantial ice sheets.

The Gulf Stream and other ocean currents show signs of an approaching Ice Age through their decreased movement rates...

Just 17,000 years ago Seattle and much of the Pacific Northwest was buried in a sheet of ice 5,000 feet thick. When the ice from this major ice-age period melted, it carved the islands in the Puget Sound. It can and will happen again.

So…we are back to the 1970s now? Everything old is new again.

Geologically speaking, we are barely out of the last ice age. Not sure we are rushing back into one any time soon.

Yeah, this was going to happen 55 years ago when I was in high school.

Yeah, but science had not yet traced the blame to Donald Trump.

I have good news. I project that in 20,000 years the earth will be warmed up again.

"...Earth maintains a constant temperature throughout time...."

That is pure BOLLOCKS.

Earth's core has been cooling gradually for 4.5 BILLION years. Lord Kelvin made the first educated guess as to the age of the earth based on that very principle (but he was off a few orders of magnitude because he was ignorant of radioactive decay and its effects). To not do so would be a violation of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.

Which only applies to closed systems, which the earth is not because it receives energy from the sun (on the order of 320×10^29 joules/day). But the Man-Made Global Warming crowd would sooner hare-lip the Pope that admit the sun, not MMGW, actually controls earth's temperature.

Burning coal and natural gas probably does not affect the environment (planet, solar system, whatever) but it’s a great way to keep warm.

The poles move around. Does it matter whether they are over land (Antarctica) or water (Arctic)?

The excerpt did not impress.

In general, it often seems like much of the “science” or science reporting is ad hoc. For example, after hurricane Ivan we got reports that climate change causes severe hurricanes.

It seems to me that we’ve had a couple of cold winters. Presto, warming of the Arctic pushes cold air south. You mean, you didn’t know that already? I’d actually like it if someone made a prediction BEFORE an event.

To their credit first Gore, then Kerry predicted that the Arctic might be ice free in six years. They were both wrong many times over. Does anybody care?

It’s climate change now .
They smartly changed the name of their shakedown .
Ice Ages are covered under climate change .
Keep sending the money

Same with wood. Gotta love a good wood burning stove.

These clowns have been caught lying over and over and over again....

https://cei.org/blog/wrong-again-50-years-of-failed-eco-pocalyptic-predictions/

“Modern doomsayers have been predicting climate and environmental disaster since the 1960s. They continue to do so today.

None of the apocalyptic predictions with due dates as of today have come true.”

I have bad news.

These lying pieces of trash will still be spewing their toxic nonsense twenty thousand years from now...

(unless future generations say “enough is enough” and start burning them at the stake).
