King Charles’ new $410,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II luxury SUV has made its debut after it was gifted to the British Royal Family by the King of Bahrain.

The monarchy of the United Kingdom is not unfamiliar with luxury cars – the late Queen Elizabeth II had her own superb private fleet of vehicles at her disposal.

Many of these were passed to the King, but he’s had a new car delivered as a Coronation gift from the King of Bahrain.

This Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II is worth more than $400,000, and it’s now been seen on the Mall in London with an interesting license plate.

Wasn’t the “Battle of Cullinan” the final confrontation of the Jacobite rising of 1745 and part of the religious civil war in Britain?

The ‘45 uprising, also known as the Jacobite rising of 1745, was an attempt by Charles Edward Stuart (Bonnie Prince Charlie) to reclaim the British throne for his father, James Francis Edward Stuart. It began on August 19, 1745, in Scotland, and despite initial successes, it ultimately ended in defeat at the Battle of Culloden in April 1746

Why is there still “royalty” in 2026? Ridiculous nonsense, especially in the Arab world, where criminal mafia dons were selected by Britain to rule as “kings.” Ibn Saud murdered all his rivals so Arabia becomes “Saudi” Arabia.

Why is there still “royalty” in 2026?

Because some people want it. Some people even like it.

I bet they don't like foreigners bitching about how they run their countries. And I agree with them on that, even if on nothing else.

I think you should go to all the countries with monarchs, and ask them. Maybe you can organize them to revolt.

I recall a ragtag little bunch of upstarts who defeated the most powerful military in the world at the time.

But it was because they wanted to.

Generally, countries who still have monarchs have them because they want to.

The window glass is too high on all four sides. Even with that fixed, it would look like a Lincoln with Ford pickup headlights.

,,, when this model first appeared on the market I wondered if the basic design inspiration came from a London taxi cab.

I wonder what it would cost just to change a burned-out headlight on that car...

(That was the big shock I had when I went from my first, super economy car to my next more ‘luxury’ type back in the 90s...)
