Hey Freepers in the path of stormagedden 2026....how ya doing?
Power outages? Impacts?
Here in north GA it's just a little chilly as we wait for the storm.
Awesome! Were ya’ll called to get hit?
It’s winter. It gets cold. It shows. It ices....
NE part of the DFW metroplex
Temp 22
Wind chill 11
Ice storm
LOL...I’ve got a buddy who says the same kind of thing.
21 degrees and dropping, with still wind, under a heavy, low, uniformly grey leaden sky here in D.C. No flakes yet, but trillions are surely coming.
Cubs went tice fishing.
I am staying home to keep the home fires burning.
Not this cold.
It’s been pretty much below 32 degrees since early December...
all day been watching LIVE the max velocity (degreed meteorologist) on YouTube.
He shows all events across whole area...and it is LIVE
A couple inches of sleet and freezing rain in East Texas. More to come. Streets just wet.
Far West Kentucky. Maybe 2 inches and cold. Supposed to really crank up a bit later.

It was possible, but it appears the worst is out to the East of us. More worried about the cold temps for the extended period more than anything. Hopefully the power will stay on. Constantly checking all the faucets to make sure they are dripping.
Power outages?
Central Texas here. Rain and 20s. Some ice but so far the big disaster has not materialized. It’s suppose to freeze further tonight, however, with possible sleet.
Roanoke Va reporting.
Very cold, nothing falling yet, I think maybe closer to midnight? Conflicting reports all over.
We should be well prepared with flashlights, candles, water, food, blankets. But I forgot alcohol.

It looks like Dallas was spared. The counties along the TX-LA border have some customers without power as it looks like most of the heavy ice will be across the Deep South.
Here in Memphis we didn’t get nearly the snowfall predicted, have had some sleet, and this system seems to not bring as much precipitation as promised.
The snow and sleet stopped before noon and now it’s just cold.
“Officially” we have around 4-4.5 inches but it’s more like half an inch of snow and ice.
The only place in Tennessee that’s not getting at least some winter weather is Al Gore’s house.

Just the usual freak out here 20 miles south of Nashville.
About one inch of light snow. Very powdery.
Now we are getting a small amount of ice pellets.
Main roads probably already cleared.
A light rain here in Tucson but it is sunny now.
