Virginia Democrats in the state’s House of Delegates introduced a resolution on Tuesday that would establish a task force to investigate the Virginia Military Institute and determine if the historic military college should continue to receive funding.
The move is the latest of Virginia Democrats’ efforts to reinvigorate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policy in the state after much of the DEI mandates and policies were revoked after President Donald Trump was elected in 2024.

They ALL belong in an asylum, NOT anywhere near government or the “levers of power” of anything...incluidng lawnmowers.....

That's a good idea. They can even keep the name as it is.
They can probably look around and find a private college that is struggling due to a declining enrollment and just buy it outright.
That is why I have been, for a number of years, referring to Democrats as “LIEberals!”

Every communist overthrow throughout history has NEVER resulted in any nice things...except perhaps for it’s godless, corrupt leadership..
So yes... Virignina is going to get some first-hand experience in communism.
Such a shame.... It didn’t need to be that way.
They’re not going to be happy until the last scrap of Southern heritage has been denigrated, distorted or eliminated.

That would delight her, and would completely destroy VMI.
She literally campaigned on expanding DEI...it was the media who portrayed her as a “moderate.” She was always far left in both word and deed.
A benevolent billionaire should pay to have it relocated to another state if they actually pull this stunt...or even just fund an endowment to take the place of the state funding.
Maybe VMI could move to Florida, Georgia, or Texas.

The important thing is to get the school out of her hands and out of the hands of her handlers.
It the school can’t be moved to Florida the best thing to do is to close it down honorably.
If VMI becomes just another school for DEI studies what good is it?
Maybe DJT can federalize it.
