Residents in a trendy apartment building in Denver, Colorado say their peaceful lives turned into a nightmare when homeless families were given free apartments next door.
Owen Johnson, a 25-year-old from Missouri, says he moved into the White Swan apartment building near the city's Congress Park in May with his wife.
But Johnson says their honeymoon period after tying the knot was quickly ruined when a homeless man was given a state housing voucher to move into the apartment next to theirs, and he says it dawned on them the tenant 'was crazy.'

The left are overwhelmingly mentally ill, difference being that they function at a different level than the so-called ‘homeless’. Bums is a better descriptor than mislabeling them, which conveniently relieves the functioning left of association.

The bums are pawns, no different than the criminals on the street, the fraudsters we read about in the news this month, those whom they crow about as not having ‘living wages’.
Mislabeling the homeless - criminals, addicts, some indeed abnormal, but ALL a sub class - as “mentally ill” is a leftist trap. Recall that it was democrats who facilitated the living wage ‘crisis’, the fentanyl ‘crisis’, the BUM (aka ‘homeless’) ‘crisis’, AND the human wave invasion ‘crisis’, etc.

The people who think they homeless are just down on their luck have never dealt with the homeless. I try to stay as far away as possible as I’ve seen them go from docile to full attack mode in the blink of an eye.

Although I have never had hands on experience, the numerous videos do not depict a homogenized homeless society.
In videos from California, Oregon and Washington, there are large villages of tent dwellers. There are blocks and blocks and blocks of RV dwellers parked on the streets. All of these people have chosen to dwell in locations other than what is conventional housing.
Down on their luck is an expression for being unable to cope with the destructive societal change resulting from the progress wrought by the radical leftist governments.

Anyone remember the movie, Charlie? An experimental medication made Charlie a thinking, loving, and warm man. When the experimental medication ended, Charlie reverted to being insane and was back in a locked facility. I remember it to have been a sad movie, but as a high school I understood the message that the right medication could fix anyone. It can’t, and never will.

She, the land lord, has already moved them out. The program was run by a non-profit not the state. In that aspect she was lucky.
Looking at the “art” work on her building and the “trendy” neighborhood she is in, I’d say this another lefty mugged by reality.
I see the same bum day after day after day holding his cardboard sign lamenting his lot in life and that all he needs is a few dollars to get back on his feet. I had one bum approach me with a broken fan belt he found saying he just needs a few bucks to get a replacement and when I offered to buy him one and just needed the make and model he cursed me out. I once bought a bag of groceries for a bum who said he was hungry and when he saw me go away he threw the whole bag in the garbage. When I go hiking O see what the bums have done to the camp sites in the forest where they abandoned old RVs and mountains of trash mixed in with stolen shopping carts. My sympathy meter was pegged a long time ago when it comes to street bums.

I get a kick out of watching body cam arrest videos. A certain demographic will go absolutely ape crap over the slightest interaction of cops for minor things and will turn it in to a full on chimpout. And two thing they always do, hold on to the cell phone for dear life, and yell, “CALL MY MOMMA” at the top of their lungs. It’s like they all go to some sort of finishing school to learn how to make a minor infraction in to a felony arrest.
