We often think about human-induced climate change as something that will happen in the future, but it is happening now. Ecosystems and people in the United States and around the world are affected by the ongoing process of climate change today.
Climate change affects the environment in many different ways, including rising temperatures, sea level rise, drought, flooding, and more. These events affect things that we depend upon and value, like water, energy, transportation, wildlife, agriculture, ecosystems, and human health.

The premise is erroneous.
Correction:
Why do THEY [the left] care about climate change?
Answer:
It is all about Rule #1: The elites want you dead.
They want a population reduction to 500 million people from 8 billion. To do that, they use “global warming” to claim all things human must stop. Of course, they fly jets and live on big boats and in many big mansions, but that is part of why they want you dead. You interfere with their lives.
Every time they sit in traffic or on a runway behind your commercial jet in their private jet, or on a beach they are at, you are in their way.
Study up on the “Milankovitch Cycle”. It causses Earth’s glaciation cycles. Earth is 10,000 years into a 20,000 year interglacial. The atmosphere is SUPPOSED to be w3arming. And gee, it IS warming.
Climate Change.......
The operative word is change. For the progressives who actually worship change, a perceived change in the climate is opposed because it cannot be controlled.
However, control over political objectives are made to achieve desirable objectives otherwise not obtainable
The concept that climate change is anthropogenic is just plain nuts. The tiny speck of man’s activities are but a grain in a sea of sand. Yes, climate has never remained static but there are much bigger factors at play. Thake that giant ball of fire in the sky for instance. Add some forest fires and volcanos and now you are talking about some things that could have a very real impact on climate and all of Al Gores climate credits combined can’t do a bloody thing to impact those forces. Some of us have watched the grift from the beginning when the ice age was coming, we are all going to die. Send money, to global warming will kill us all send money to climate change, send money. There is a common denominator in all of those. See if you can guess what it is. Industries also use it to gain advantage over their competitors.
Technically we are still in a Ice Age - the Quaternary. Its defined to be a time period of cyclic continental glaciation. For the last 15,000 years or so we’ve been in a lull. That will change.
I believe over 100 years of industrialization, plus wars, and volcanoes has some effect, and I want warmer temps, and which have many benefits, and God created the earth to be able to adjust to different aspects. Man is the problem, and needs to just adapt to any warming, and get right with misusing what God gave us in disobeying His laws.
