An Alaska Airlines customer exploded at staff after they refused to let her stash two cats under her plane seat.
The passenger, who later identified herself as Alexandra Compton, from Portland, Oregon could be see lashing out at the workers Sunday as they calmly explained their pet policy.
'Show me the policy, then, before I booked the flight, that said that I had to have a certain weight of cat to go under the seat,' Compton, who lives in Las Vegas, fumed.
She then accused airline staff of 'ruining Christmas' after they explained that the cats would not have a full range of motion and needed to to travel separately in bigger carriers.
'You haven't even seen my cat, so you're not letting me go home for Christmas,' Compton shot back.
'I don't have people here to watch my cat. 'I don't live here. I live in Oregon. I have an Oregon ID. I need to go home for Christmas.'
An employee informed her that the issue was not with the weight of her cats, but rather with their size.
Her angry outburst at an unidentified airport was captured in a TikTok video where she was deemed the 'Two Cat Karen'.
An airline staffer asked Compton to lower her tone, as he tried to show her how to correctly book a reservation for her cat on Alaska's website.
'That's not where I booked my flight, though,' she claimed.
Compton's distress only increased after she was told that she had never even booked her pets for her upcoming flight.
'My mom tried to and your website obviously isn't user friendly, so I'm asking you to show me right now, where she would've learned that before she booked my flight, so this issue would've never happened?' Compton said.

When was the last time an airline worried in the slightest about "full range of motion"? You could probably cram a half dozen cats under a seat to match their human seating rules.
Ah the joys of seat pitch and other indignities of modern air travel.
If you would like more information about what’s happening in Oregon, please FReepmail me. Please send me your name by FReepmail if you want to be on this list.
I think we’re going to need another chart,
anything above a 23 cat karen will be considered pure gold!
Wait a minute now, this is getting hue and series
since one could stow many more kitten cat karens
and still maintain their ‘range of motion’ and
there could also be a mouse number issue for in
flight snacks.
I only saw side views. I could see a big nose and big mouth. To each their own. I wonder if some in her family are saying “Yes!!!”.
Not me, it was up to her to know what the policy was and not just assume she knew. If her mom made the reservation, she should have told her mom to check. It is the typical attitude that “I am not responsible for anything, it is always someone else’s fault. If she wasn’t able to go home for Christmas, it wasn’t the airline’s fault, it was her’s for not taking the responsibility to know what needed to be done.
“. . . they explained that the cats would not have a full range of motion and needed to to travel separately in bigger carriers.”
But hear me out. A cousin’s cat disappeared right before a move. The moving van delivered their furniture as planned, a thousand plus miles away. When they unwrapped the couch it turned out the cat had traveled inside it. It was alive and well. So Karen might have a point. ;D
Since you invoked Tiffany...yes, they’re real, and they’re spectacular!
And, of course, she has an OnlyFans.
I don’t dispute any of that.
But the cute liddle puddy cats!
IF she would have said—please helo me, what can we do to make this right—to get the cats home safely as well as follow airline policy? I am certain that something would have been worked out.
OK but did she let the cats out of the bag?!
I went back and read the whole sad story where
she even admitted to getting away with this previously
but no reporting for how the airlines found out.
‘You haven’t even seen my cat’ so likely not letting
cats out of the bag. Did they meow, maybe purr too loud?
Technically she’d be flying with 3.
Low standards
Her mommy booked the flight?
Oh joy! Allowing cats in the passenger cabin that’s just dandy!
Now folks with severe allergies to cats can enjoy a flight with their eyes irritated and swollen shut, hives, itching, while sucking on an albuterol inhaler and hoping the Benadryl will kick in fast and hard just so some narcissistic Karen can have her kitties with her. I don’t even want her coat with cat fur in the cabin with me, let alone the source of it.
Sooner of later someone is going to have a severe reaction to some pet in the cabin on a flight and sue the ass off an airline and maybe they’ll return to some sanity.
And no, I do not hate cats.
I expect all the cabin pressure business would be painful to cats
plus it is cruel to subject them to so much stress
yep
I would hate to be her cats
