Stanford Medicine study shows why mRNA COVID-19 vaccine can cause myocarditis

Stanford Medicine investigators have unearthed the biological process by which mRNA-based vaccines for COVID-19 can cause heart damage in some young men and adolescents — and they’ve shown a possible route to reducing its likelihood.

Using advanced but now common lab technologies, along with published data from vaccinated individuals, the researchers identified a two-step sequence in which these vaccines activate a certain type of immune cell, in turn riling up another type of immune cell. The resulting inflammatory activity directly injures heart muscle cells, while triggering further inflammatory damage.

The mRNA vaccines for COVID-19, which have now been administered several billion times, have been heavily scrutinized for safety and have been shown to be extremely safe, said Joseph Wu, MD, PhD, the director of the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.

“The mRNA vaccines have done a tremendous job mitigating the COVID pandemic,” said Wu, the Simon H. Stertzer, MD, Professor and a professor of medicine and of radiology. “Without these vaccines, more people would have gotten sick, more people would have had severe effects and more people would have died.”

mRNA vaccines are viewed as a breakthrough because they can be produced quickly enough to keep up with sudden microbial strain changes and they can be rapidly adapted to fight widely divergent types of pathogens. But, as with all vaccines, not everyone who gets the shot experiences a purely benign reaction.

Result: "Yes. Unlike traditional vaccines, which typically use a weakened or inactive form of the virus, mRNA vaccines use a small piece of genetic code to achieve the same result."

Researchers use established protocols to create mRNA in a method that mimics our own biological processes. First, they separate the two strands of the plasmid Spike Protein DNA. This RNA polymerase, becomes the single strand mRNA molecule. This is nearly identical to the way genes in our bodies are transcribed. Finally, other molecules break down the rest of the plasmid to ensure that only the mRNA is packaged inside the protective coating of the lipid nanoparticle of the vaccine.

I had 3 jabs of mRNA covid vax in 2021. Knock on wood I am still very healthy at age 85.

My experience is opposite. After 3 jabs I did a dozen cruises beginning in Sept 2021 when cruise ships started sailing again. Never got covid, no colds, no flu. Neither did my wife who had 4 jabs.

I am very glad for your good fortune but have lost too many acquaintances and my niece has had aggressive recurrent breast cancer develop after 14 years in remission.

The bad reactions appear to be based on a person’s genetic makeup. A recent study has confirmed specific vulnerable enzymatic pathways but there are certainly others.

The literature is very clear. This was a very serious I would say criminal lack of integrity and responsibility on the part of the scientific and manufacturing bodies involved. The credibility of medical science will not return any time soon although Kennedy is taking the right steps to restore integrity & trust.

When the dice roll in your favor you have only to give thanks and breathe a sigh of relief. As a physician I am appalled to the depths of my being that such a fiasco was perpetrated by individuals and organizations purported to “do no harm” and to place lives & public safety in the highest priority.

It was all done in the name of PANIC with a brand new virus spreading like wild fire since no one had antibodies in their system. The way I look at it, 267 million Americans got jabbed, but death toll from the vax did not reduce US population. So sigh if relief.

We have to differ there. I think Trump had pure motives & got played.
Other individuals, government and industry employees & executives rolled out a plan with a weaponized created virus to deliver chaos they could use for their own ends.
The evidence of coordination and prior scenario simulations is well documented.
Clear evidence of nefarious intent includes: employment of drug protocols with known toxic & ineffective agents, such as Remdesivir, mandated ventilator protocols that killed patients, aggressive blocking of known effective and very safe drugs, targeting of treating physicians successfully employing those effective treatments by professional and criminal prosecution.

Yes I agree with your points, except only point I have is that percentage of people who suffered adverse effects is less than 1% for the on 267 million Americans who were jabbed.
