“And China has a plan for all those idle “useless” men.”
‘Soylent Green’ comes to mind.
Didn’t Boston Dynamics have a problem with some CGI robots being passed off as real?
Begun the clone wars have
Even making Nike products and working in coal mines? Or are children still doing those jobs?
What China has achieved in the last 30-40 years is nothing short of a miracle.
Take your head out of the sand or your rear end and go there for a couple of weeks and educate yourself.
Hey if they are that flexible maybe they can be plumbers too.
Robot love is on the horizon, guys... Oh yeah!
Yup.
It’s mind boggling.
It had not changed much by 1987, but afterwards, .......
Reports from China these days are that even though the technology and the ccp are doing well, the people are not.
Their poor are poor, their rich are rich. The Chinese people are employed in high tech and doing without importing Indians. They are a great deal more happy with their government and economy than you are with yours. (I have a direct feed.)
Agree that I watch chinese anti ccp commentators. you may see them too.
Agree too that their rich are rich and their poor are poor like everywhere else.

Tesla leads the world in robotics
Yes, and the Chinese middle class is a great deal happier than ours. Their cities are now more beautiful, and innocent young girls don’t get their throats cut while using the subway.

Yep an impressive facade - with the bulk of the population still living like its 1976 or earlier.
It's quite brilliant, but they are looking to demoralize.
Even more brilliant, "they" are looking for a way to get you OK with paying $500 a month for limited water and $1000 a month for limited electricity.
Are they living in raised ranches with driveways and two cars in the garage? No. But they, overall, can afford food, aren't taxed on they property until death, can afford a doctor's trip, can afford restaurant meals and new clothes, etc.
And, really, the only the very few in the United States (who didn't acquire it 20, 30, 40 years ago) have all the nice things we once had. And many, many more are only hanging on to it by a thread.
