"What is the point of food stamps if it’s just for 'real food?'" - Hannah Moore to @KMOV reporter John Kipper.

And I’ll bet her manicured finger nails were $300. Does EBT pay for that too?
pay for your own cheetos
Hey Hannah - “Eat your peas.”
Say what? That’s why it’s called FOOD stamps, fool.
The total cluelessness is breathtaking.
“What am I...a cat?” -caller on Ken Hamblin’s show when he suggested that maybe she could eat tuna fish, instead of buying steaks with food stamps.
According to the written article on World Net Daily, This woman has no kids.
She is being purposely obtuse, which is another obvious thing she will pretend not to understand
I was shopping on Amazon today to find some caviar. My 92 year-old grandmother has never tasted it. I think it would be a treat for her for our Christmas get together. Just for snacks.
I was looking for a little $10-15 one ounce jar or can. Maybe some crackers and a little smoked salmon. Some cream cheese.
Do you know what I found? Caviar is EBT/SNAP eligible.
If you like this stuff, which is basically fish bait, you can charge it on your EBT card. Up to $2,000/oz or more.
I only eat fish bait in very small quantities.
Years ago had neighbors invite us over for a dinner party. Steak and lobster.
“Wow - you guy’s are going all out!”
“It’s our last week on food stamps as Dave got a job at the warehouse so figured we better use it up and celebrate.” I never thought the same of them again.
They were back on food stamps awhile later when he couldn’t hold down that job either.
ebt should be limited to the basics and stores should bid pricing on items for the right to be the EBT store in the area. right now you can spend EBT at gas stations for food that is twice the price of the grocery store. I myself am on EBT and can’t understand why I am allowed to get just about anything that’s food in the store...anyone that’s critical of limiting what can be bought with EBT should remember that if the person wants the stuff deemed unnecessary, they can use what ever money that EBT has replaced in spending for food

EBT should be eliminated.
I like caviar. But I would be damned if I would make working, tax paying citizen’s dollars pay for it. If I was getting food stamps I would buy the healthiest and also cheapest food I could buy with the food stamps. Junk food is a misnomer, it’s not food, it’s junk.
“Why day do dat?”
Indeed, madam. Indeed.
“It’s our last week on food stamps”
Wow. Celebrate?
The only time I could afford steak & lobster, surf and turf, was downrange in the chow hall. Free. The steak was a quarter inch slab of overcooked gristle. The lobster was two week old toothpaste.
The politicians and generals said, “We’re feeding these men and women steak and lobster every week.” That was a true statement.
Let’s see them served in Martha’s Vinyard, Hollywood, NYC, etc. and give a five star review.
Why work when you can get welfare?
Work is hard, sitting on a couch with a giant bag of chips in front of the boob tube is easy.
calculate the number of mouths to be fed and send two MRE’s for each one for each day. Send them weekly. No more EBT needed.
It's not. Many use them to finance their drug habit. Otherwise, they will sell their mamma.
