After meeting with Ukraine President Zelensky and speaking with Russian President Putin by phone earlier on Sunday, President Trump said that they’re “getting closer” to a peace agreement.
“We had a terrific meeting. We discussed a lot of things. As you know, I had an excellent phone call with President Putin,” he said. I do think we’re getting a lot closer, maybe very close.”
Prior to the meeting, Trump said they are entering the “final stages” of peace talks.
The two met in Florida.
“We’re going to see. Otherwise, it’s going to go on for a long time,” he said. “It will either end or it’s going to go on for a long time and millions of additional people are going to be killed. Nobody wants that.”
Prior to the meeting, Trump spoke with Putin and described the conversation as “very productive.”
A reporter asked about security guarantees as the meeting with Zelensky began.
“What a stupid question,” Trump said. “Nobody even knows what the security agreement is going to state. There will be a security agreement. It will be a strong agreement. The European nations are very much involved.”

The new ‘War on Boys’ program announced by Starmer and Mahmood will train teachers to “spot early signs of misogyny in boys”. Boys who are flagged for misogyny will be directed to special classes on the dangers of ‘toxic masculinity’ and the crime of being born male.
“Every parent should be able to trust that their daughter is safe at school, online and in her relationships,” Prime Minister Keir Starmer, whom many blame for the cover-up of Muslim sex grooming gangs that targeted thousands of vulnerable underage girls, claimed.

Bardot rocketed to fame in 1956 with And God Created Woman, leading to a slew of other movies that highlighted her transcendent beauty. She then retired at a relatively young age and fought for animal rights. She was also a critic of what she saw as threats to the French culture from immigration, Islamic influences, and homosexuality. Many of us disagreed with some of those views, but she was exercising core rights of political speech.
Bardot once said, “I am greatly misunderstood by politically correct idiots. Politics disgusts me.”
Macron’s praise for Bardot’s “life of freedom” is reminiscent of the reaction of French officials to the massacre of editors at Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine. After hounding the victims for years with criminal investigations, the French government organized a march for free speech. As predicted, it then used the killing by Islamic extremists to further crack down on free speech.

The Pediatrics analysis of more than 10,000 adolescents found that early smartphone ownership correlates with sharply higher risks of depression, obesity, and chronic sleep problems, and the younger kids receive their first device, the worse the long-term outcomes appear.
Researchers with the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development Study tracked 10,588 participants, comparing health trajectories between 12-year-olds who owned smartphones and those who did not.
The results were stark.
Children with smartphones showed a 31 percent higher risk of depression, a 40 percent increase in obesity risk, and a 62 percent higher likelihood of inadequate sleep.
The trend deepened with earlier exposure.
For every year younger a child acquired a smartphone, obesity risk rose by another 9 percent, and inadequate sleep rose by 8 percent.
