PREDICTION:
Cryptocurrencies will all crash before the end of the year..................
That’s it...BTC is now officially down YTD. Low on January 1 was 92,886 - today’s high.
74,577 was the low of 2025 (double-bottom in April). Could be tested. till, BTC is up a robust 571% since its major low at 15,632 exactly 3 years ago (Nov 2022).
Final thought, this is an unusual drop given the pace of stock declines in recent days. Makes me wonder if some news is about to come out regarding a breakthrough in quantum computing to crack crypto algorithms.
That is quite a stable investment. Sign me up for some of that digital volatility.
“Investing” in crypto has never made sense. It’s just pure speculation, like buying tulips. If crypto ever actually achieves its promise of becoming an alternative medium of exchange (far more broadly than its current tiny niche) then THAT will give it inherent value, but until then it has none. Even then, I would not view it as an investment.
The US Dollar (USD) Index Future has slowly climbed from $96 to $100, in two months.
USD 100 is considered Dollar neutral - against a basket of foreign currencies.
Below 100 - Dollar weakness
Above 100 - Dollar strength.
