“You’re welcome!”
Might I suggest a week before early voting starts?
more wealth transfer… straight from “The Stash”
No information on if the dividend will be paid out to retirees that worked and
contributed to the system for some forty years plus.
Enjoy the windfall, comrades!
But regardless, those making 100K or more should at least get some token gift for their support, like a MAGA hat ....
Meanwhile:
What could possibly go wrong?
Translation:
If you pay a lot of taxes? You get nothing.
Same as it was in Covid.
But hurray for the bipartisan agreement that people who have worked hard all their life, now make good money, and now PAY the majority of taxes just keep paying more.
Now, we get both kinds of redistribution of my money... the leftist “give it to the poor” and the right-side “give it to the ‘moderate’ income”
Forgive if I don’t celebrate the GOP figuring out a way to distribute more of my money to *slightly* less objectionable conduits.
Outstanding, that two grand will help cover the cost of the $800 dollars the Mrs. and I had to spend on a dishwasher after 17 years.
How about deregulating the housing and automobile market.
Mamdani loving these ideas. Covid cash redux. Get that printer going!
Many people are precisely gauging their incomes next year so that they don’t fall off of the ACA income ‘cliff’ where suddenly they won’t be eligible for subsidies when they file their 2026 taxes. Thanks, The Donald, for the $2000; the IRS is going to want $12000 now because you pushed me over the ACA subsidy cliff.
Social Security recipients?
Not if SCOTUS overturns the tariffs (fingers crossed). This is Trump at his worst. Lots of good policies, but the bad ones are REALLY bad.
Just before mid-term elections works for me.
Should go to pay down the debt which would help a lot if the government would drop all welfare programs, entitlement programs and all subsidies
Enough for a lexus muffler!

Nothing but a wealth transfer. Trump is wildly wrong on this one, no better than the liberals on this issue.
Once again punishing the providers to appease the takers.
