Well 100K is now lower middle class for most of the country, and is not even middle class in Kalifornia or the People's Republic of New York.

But regardless, those making 100K or more should at least get some token gift for their support, like a MAGA hat ....

I have a business degree with an accounting major. My senior year I did volunteer income tax returns for low income people. I was surprised to learn that “low income” is anyone/couple who earn $100,000 or less.

I like how it was first announced as everybody gets $2000. Then it was everyone except the very high income.
Then it was everyone except high income.
Now it’s anyone making under $100k.

Is this 100k per individual and thus 200k for a married couple? Are my IRA withdrawals considered income for this? Is my social security considered income for this? Is my retirement from work consider income for this? Is the obama care subsidies considered income? Are welfare benefits considered income?
