She must have known what going to his apartment for “networking and mentoring” meant. I just don’t see how there is evidence to bring charges. The only evidence seems to be they found guns in his apartment and he is guilty of being a creep. If she had injuries or torn clothing or he had fired the gun or people heard her scream, that would be evidence. He may have done what she said, but people shouldn’t be prosecuted without evidence. He is presumably wealthy, which gives her a motive for false charges.
50 years ago, it was hard to get the police and prosecutors to file rape charges. Some feminists got that changed. However, even if someone may be guilty, they shouldn’t be convicted without proof.

Especially considering the age gap. Somebody forgot the wine and dine stage. You can always tell when a pair is about to start a relationship because there is all sorts of flirting and looking and leaning into each other.

Yes, the body language you mention is very common. Lots of people understand it intuitively, others do not. A fair amount is cultural and is learned.
Promiscuity is also common, and lots of people want sex without much of a relationship, probably more men than women, but that seems to be changing as well.

Lol, no woman with more than a single brain cell is taking that deal. We are hard-wired to get value first. If she’s sugar-babying, well sugar daddy is going to provide the goods first. Especially not from middling successful middle aged men.

Again, you’re glossing over the age gap. Young professional women may be hooking up in their age group, but not older men in her career area. We know better than to sh!t in our backyard. If she was the type to trade sex for career advancement, she’d be far more sly about it than to cry rape. There is no career benefit in that.
