Because here’s the thing. Men who are open and honest about their sexual interest in a women are providing the woman the opportunity to accept or reject the offer.
A lot of people believe inviting a woman to your apartment is being open and honest about sexual interest.
I recall a cartoon that way, about a woman being all upset, because, she said, “The creep had a whole apartment of etchings”... when she thought looking at my etchings was code for sexual interest.
This looks like a lot of mixed signals to me. I would like to hear the other side.
But the other side cannot be open and honest, because they are facing multiple felony raps.
Open and honest would be asking for dates and saying I’m interested in you. Along with the usual flirting and excessive eye contact and smiling.
Networking/mentoring is a bullshit predatory false pretense. Why would he be expecting consensual sex when they haven’t even dated?
Especially considering the age gap. Somebody forgot the wine and dine stage. You can always tell when a pair is about to start a relationship because there is all sorts of flirting and looking and leaning into each other.
