Rapper 50 Cent declared that 'New York is over' after Zohran Mamdani was elected mayor and urged locals to flee to the Louisiana city he poured millions into reviving.
After Tuesday's election, in which Mamdani assumed his victory over Independent candidate Andrew Cuomo and Republican Curtis Sliwa, Jackson reiterated his discontent with the far-left politician.
He shared an image of a tombstone that read, 'RIP NYC,' with the city's death date as 2025.

The pro-Trump artist, 50, has been flooding his social media with posts denouncing the Democratic-socialist mayoral elect while prompting like-minded New Yorkers to leave the Big Apple for Shreveport
The music mogul, Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson, recently snagged 20 properties in the northwest Louisiana city as part of an estimated $50 million investment into the once-booming oil town near the Texas border, about 190 miles east of Dallas.
The Queens, New York-born performer has never shied away from slamming Mamdani and making his political beliefs known.
In June, Jackson even went as far as to offer to pay the then-candidate $258,750 - the annual salary of the NYC mayor - and buy him a one-way ticket out of New York.
'I think his intentions are good, but his tax plan is gonna run the big money out of the city and if he defunds the police they are gonna purge,' Jackson wrote on Instagram the day before the election.
The 'Candy Shop' rapper also uploaded a since-deleted picture of bin holding a red Yankees hat, a can of Ginger Ale and a bottle of his Branson brand Cognac.

Granted, you need a bath after each episode, but it shines a light on a way of life that most of us, thankfully, know nothing about.
HOORAY Curtis Jackson.
But ... damn ... they have a state income tax.
Shreveport be a dump.
A quarter of NJ now libmves in FL.
That Louisiana City 50cent is rebuilding, is Shreveport, Louisian.
I checked out of listening to pop music a long time ago when I started my business and just didn’t have time, so I’ve never known anything about 50 Cent except that friends of mine named their fancy-breed dog “Fiddy” after him. So I just read his Wikipedia page, and wow, what a dynamic entrepreneur, living the American Dream! He and DJT, both from Jamaica, Queens—must be something in the water there. His natural intelligence and his recognition that God saved him from destruction have given him enormous creative drive to overcome a horrible early (fatherless) life. Hope his Louisiana project works out well. I love that A-A stars like him and Morgan Freeman are investing in the South and making jobs for others there.
