Arizona parents upset after teachers wear bloody white 'Problem Solved' t-shirts for Halloween—school district claims they weren't mocking Charlie Kirk's killing

An Arizona school district is facing backlash after posting a photo showing members of a high school math department wearing T-shirts that read “Problem Solved” with fake blood on the left side, a costume that parents interpreted as referencing the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

The Vail School District, located near Tucson, shared a collection of Halloween costumes from its schools on Facebook, which included the controversial image. TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet posted the image on X, saying concerned parents sent the organization screenshots, believing the image mocked Kirk’s death.

“Concerned parents just sent us this image of what's believed to be teachers in [Vail School District] in Tucson, Arizona mocking Charlie's murder with costumes that read "Problem Solved" and blood down the left side of their shirts,” Kolvet wrote. They deserve to be famous, and fired.”

The district deleted the images after the backlash and later released a statement identifying the staff as members of Cienega High School’s math department. It said the shirts were part of a math-themed costume that was also worn last year. Photos of the teachers posted by social media users appeared to confirm they were worn last year.

According to the article, they wore the same shirts in 2024 and those shirts have been available for purchase since 2024.

This from the crew who suspends a 7-year-old for making a finger gun.

PS But wearing it showed poor judgment. Fire them anyway.

I don’t have the link. People on FB scrolled back a year to Halloween 2024 on the school’s FB page. They reposted the photos of what the math department wore last year, showing each wore their own different costume. The school obviously lied that this is last year’s recycled costume, which doesn’t even make any sense.

The claim is that they did it last year too. Even if that is true, that doesn’t justify doing it this year. It shows VERY poor taste.

Many don’t know this, but in the movie “Dr. Strangelove”, slim pickin’s says, after reading the ingredients list from their survival kit, “Shoot, a guy could have a pretty good time in Vegas with all this stuff.” Except his lips said “Dallas”, not Vegas. But Kennedy had just been shot in Dallas so they changed the word out of respect.

Ah, respect. The left has forgotten what that even means.

they claim it is not making fun of Kirk. Fine.

If they merely wear a bloody costume it could be okay. Similar to zombie or ghouls.

but when they carry signs saying problem solved etc. it suggests they are encouraging murder.

They are supposed to be Math teachers...not provacateurs...I think there should be mandatory uniforms for “education” employees...and students. White or black shirt...black slacks or skirt. They are paid by taxpayers to TEACH, not act out.

They are either evil or stupid. Either way, they should not be teaching children.

What sense do the shirts make if they really did wear them last year? What was having a bloody shirt on have to do with solving a math problem last year? Is it cuz math is hard so you have to wrestle with it and maybe get stabbed? It makes no sense, so I don’t believe they wore the shirts last year. And who would even keep those shirts for a year to use them again?

They didn’t have the shirts made for the purpose, no—but they all thought it would be funny to mock Charlie Kirk’s murder by wearing blood tee shirts.
What message does this send to students? A very bad one. Termination seems appropriate.

They can fight this by teaching their children to become local Chatlie Kirks. The superheroes can’t do it by themselves.

TUMBLINDICE IS A PROVED ANTI-SEMITIC LIAR!

In his post #12 here:

https://freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/4350054/posts?page=12#12

He asserts,

“89 US congress members have dual Israeli-American citizenship.”

That is false. There has never been a single Israeli American dual citizen congress member. I have repeatedly proved that. He cannot prove a single dual citizen Israeli-American congress person.

He may not have known that he was repeating an anti-Semitic lie, but I brought that to his attention in my #s 13, 15, 23, 26, 27 and several others.

Separately, in FReepmail and in the clear twice, I gave him the following opportunity to correct himself:

*****

Since you seem to not be reading or are ignoring FReepmail, here it is in the clear:

Please retract your #12 publicly and in stream to correct the record. That information is now known by you and me to be false.

That’s the simple, easy and gentlemanly thing to do. It corrects the record so that known misinformation is not further propagated.

The less pleasant option is for you to stick by your original post #12 as truth. That will not go well. I will bring to everyone’s attention your sticking with the lie.

You and I haven’t had any run-ins over the years. I don’t have you on my radar as a bad guy.

But I’m not going to let a lie stand. Please take care of it in a gentlemanly fashion, and we’ll move on.

Please confirm receipt.

*****

So, tumblindice now surely knows that he repeated an anti-Semitic lie, is unwilling to correct the lie, and prefers to let his lie stand as truth.

As we should know those we are dealing with at FreeRepbulic, let it be known that:

“The school obviously lied that this is last year’s recycled costume”

If the school will lie to citizens they most certainly will lie and propagandize the students.

The coverup is often worse than the original bad deed.
