An Arizona school district is facing backlash after posting a photo showing members of a high school math department wearing T-shirts that read “Problem Solved” with fake blood on the left side, a costume that parents interpreted as referencing the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The Vail School District, located near Tucson, shared a collection of Halloween costumes from its schools on Facebook, which included the controversial image. TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet posted the image on X, saying concerned parents sent the organization screenshots, believing the image mocked Kirk’s death.
“Concerned parents just sent us this image of what's believed to be teachers in [Vail School District] in Tucson, Arizona mocking Charlie's murder with costumes that read "Problem Solved" and blood down the left side of their shirts,” Kolvet wrote. They deserve to be famous, and fired.”
The district deleted the images after the backlash and later released a statement identifying the staff as members of Cienega High School’s math department. It said the shirts were part of a math-themed costume that was also worn last year. Photos of the teachers posted by social media users appeared to confirm they were worn last year.

How about we get rid of government schools? Problem solved.
Next the Vile school district will say the red on the shirts did not represent blood, and gratuitous blood does not represent violence, and that blood and violence is that part of calculus that most math students don’t understand.
Or something like that.
Fire these low-life, dishonest, insensitive, arrogant, inappropriate, disingenuous, wise-assed “educators”. They should not be near children.
Fire the administrators who thought this was cute.
They all are the reason for home-schooling.
The only math these people need to be acquainted with is long range ballistics.
Free speech matters.
Do not silence them.
In all cases, they will reveal themselves for the evil they are.
Consequences for actions also matter.
Public employees are not the same as private citizens.
If the folks who own the local Deli have NAMBLA posters, you can shop somewhere else with little burden. When public employees contaminate a necessary public service you are paying for, the avoidance cost is not the same.
They did wear the same last year. Can’t argue that. But - for the record - this is Colorado and the superintendent deleted his FB post below (why?):
“Vail School District superintendent, John Carruth, issued a statement to the district’s Facebook page on Sunday, saying the teachers wore the same shirts last year - prior to Kirk’s death - and any connection to Kirk is “unequivocally untrue”.
“We want to clarify that these shirts were part of a math-themed Halloween costume meant to represent solving tough math problems. The shirts were never intended to target any person, event, or political issue,” the now-deleted post reads.
“We understand how this image could be misunderstood and taken out of context, especially by people who are not associated with the teachers or the school. We are truly sorry for the hurt or upset it has caused.”’
They “understand” now or “understood” before? Valid question. Nothing wrong with that post to take it down.
I’d ask why it was removed.
They are openly celebrating a school shooting.
The hateful nature of democrats is absolutely astounding! There is no limit to the hate they spew.
Arizona, not Colorado.

Except that close examination of that photo shows that it was created by AI ...
Another Reason to Homeschool..
Nobody can tell me that all of the elementary school shootings are not sponsored and arranged by the DemonRAT Party of Death, Destruction, Assassins and Genecide. The only difference is that far-left ignorant, dumbass “american” slobs now except murder of non-RATS with their politics.
Parents will have to be the driving force.
But since talk is cheap...
My mistake, stand corrected. No idea where I got that.
Though same question applies...
On the school’s FB page it shows what those teachers wore last year. It wasn’t the bloody “problem solved” shirts.
It was in the linked post to X.
If there’s a dichotomy, please post.
Public school teachers are generally scum of the earth.
