Several years ago I was buying tickets to fly to Canada and the ticket clerk used my credit card to enter a fraudulent charge. My credit card company caught it immediately and I reported the clerk to Air Canada but was they wouldn’t take any action.

Learned years ago to never hand a credit/debit card to anyone at a drive-thru, or to watch a waiter walk away with it. Always have cash for these transactions.
