John Bolton is in deep trouble. According to the federal indictment against him, he not only stored thousands of pages of classified documents at his homeIf only he had kept them in his garage, next to his Corvette, then there wouldn't be a problem.
To: RandFan
And nothing will happen to him, aside from having to pay his legal team lots of $$$.

If you think there are only 3 levels, you clearly are not from the intelligence community....That’s for military secrets. The highest military ranking is lower than the lowest civilian intel ranking for classification.
Bolton would have had an Intel clearance, not just a military.

Hillary did far,far worse

> Bolton probably has a leftist jury pool in forever liberal MD.<
How will that leftist jury pool treat the GW Bush ambassador and the Trump National Security Advisor? My guess is rather harshly if the prosecution can put that into evidence.

First rule of handling classified materials: NEVER take them home! That’s a rule for the “little people.” That does not apply to the anointed people like Hillary or Bolton.

I had a high level security clearance in the USAF and the point about having a “need to know” was pounded into our heads with little signs about it posted everywhere.
You simply don’t go looking at stuff you don’t need to know, even if have clearance for that level of info.
And to share that info with people who not only have no need to know... but possess no clearance in the first place.
Well... that’s just stupid. Bolton is a complete idiot.

Yes.
We had regular training about handling classified documents.
Even now, I had them memorized!
I really tried to avoid even the “I need to know” classified documents until I really could not avoid it. And then I really tried to forget it ASAP!
The less you know, the less chances to somehow divulge it by mistake.
Our workers and even our janitors (no college degree required) had high level security clearance, and even they understood!
Why cannot the likes of Hillary or Bolton, the geniuses they are, understand?!?!

Was he ARRESTED?
Was he perp walked?
Was his mugshot released?
Just like Comey, the answer is no.
This is not justice.

Well ... Bolton *should be* in deep trouble. We'll see. If I understand correctly, the ball in the DOJ's court to determine which charges (if any) will be pursued and to what extent prosecutorial support will be made available. We haven't heard from Bondi, yet. If she is on Team Trump, then she is salivating at the opportunity to put some high profile points on the scoreboard. I hope that she is.

I heard he shared secret files with his wife and his daughter. They were acting as his book editors.
