According to the federal indictment against him, he not only stored thousands of pages of classified documents at his home long after his government employment ended, he regularly shared classified info with multiple uncleared individuals via unsecured Google and AOL email.

I read elsewhere, Bolton’s documents were marked “Confidential”.

THAT level of secrecy (of the usual three levels) usually doesn’t take long to appear in print or media outlets. Even the U.S. Post Office is cleared to carry documents of a “Secret” nature.

In sum, Bolton will go broke defending himself, but prison-time doesn’t look likely.
