A Texas business owner says his life has been turned upside down after a social media post criticizing H-1B visas led to online harassment, business backlash and ultimately, church discipline.
As first reported by Sebastian Pestritto of The Blaze, Daniel Keene of North Texas posted a short video on X showing an Indian block party that filled an entire suburban street, adding, “We have to cancel the H-1Bs. I want my kids to grow up in America. Not India.”
The post went viral, and “all hell broke loose,” The Blaze reported.

But Keene said the most painful blow came from his church.
Leaders of The Trails Church called Keene to confront him about his immigration stance, telling him to repent and labeling his post “uncharitable.” Keene said he deleted the post soon after it went viral but refused to disavow his position.
He told The Blaze that he and his pregnant wife were summoned to a meeting with “all the elders and staff who could be there.” Keene recalled, “They just hammered me for … hours.”
According to Keene, the elders reviewed three years of his X posts, highlighting two they found “concerning.” When he asked for clarification on what sin he was being accused of, he said the answers shifted. “On one hand, they are saying that the issue is not the position itself; it’s how I expressed it,” he said. “But then we’ve had three hours of phone calls, and they’re just hammering me on the position itself.”
When Keene asked the elders to put his alleged offenses in writing, they refused. He offered to post clarifying messages on X or speak with anyone offended, but said the church leadership demanded an apology and for him to renounce his position on Indian immigration.

You don’t have to go to a foreign country to talk about the live Jesus has for all people.
We all need to get into a relationship with God , you and me included.
It’s worse than that . Indians have introduced the most un-American social construct there is to the USA: the caste system.
I wondered how it happened but just reading the embarrassing responses on this thread from alleged conservatives tells me all I need to know.
Yeah we should import more muslims too while we are at it.
An H1B Indian pow wow in North Texas, and confrontations triggered by it, would be a great Cowboys and Indians spoof type movie that neither Hollywood or Bollywood would touch.
Maybe AI would
Tulsa Gabbard is a Hindu. She does not claim any Indian heritage. Her parents are both Christian.
These job stealing interlopers from India have been told they have a right to work in the USA and they are smarter than Americans. We all know that is BS. But if you believe that propaganda then are you going to adapt to US customs snd culture when you think you are superior? F no you wouldn’t.
I’m gonna tap out now. You win.
“ Looks like the Ukraine troll is dead in the water.”
Obviously the Russian one isn’t.
That’s too bad.

It’s almost like the office he works in got a new assignment handed down to them - “leave off the Ukraine war, now we are promoting xenophobic hatred of Indians.” And so he didn’t even change his screen name, he just shifted gears to his new assignment in the propaganda effort.
A lot of foreigners are not grateful that we allowed them to live in America, they think we are stupid by being nice to them.
It doesn’t help that America doesn’t promote its culture anymore (especially in our schools).
Welcome to the Pary, Jim! :-)😇
I assume you believe that those of us who disagree with your ugly generalities and ignorant prejudice against many millions of human beings are somehow not ‘conservative’.
Thank goodness you don’t define or dictate what is ‘conservative’, and nobody has to care what you think.
ParTy.
Please note that this is not the same Daniel Keene of Northeast Texas, nor of South Plains, Permian Basin, the Hill Country, Trans Pecos or the Piney Woods.
They guy needs to find a real church.
“Keene recalled, “They just hammered me for … hours.”
IF this actually happened, then this church’s elders are abusive. If a complaint cannot be managed in writing, that’s a bad sign.
Sounds like it’s time to find a real church, explaining you’re looking for proper church discipline, and not authoritarian abuse.

Sounds more like a cult, than a church.
This “church” should be telling the Indians and their masters to repent for stealing American jobs.
