An associate professor at The University of New Mexico says that she is concerned she will be forced to lie and teach that there are only two genders, male and female.
Georgiann Davis, an associate professor at The University of New Mexico, wrote in an op-ed Thursday in the Los Angeles Times that she is concerned about being forced to lie when speaking about sexuality. The piece was headlined, “I’m an intersex professor. Am I supposed to lie by teaching ‘only male and female’?”
She noted a viral video on Reddit of a Texas A&M student questioning Professor Melissa McCoul over rhetoric on “gender and sexuality” and “gender ideology.”
McCoul shared a graphic of a purple “gender unicorn” that’s used to teach on differences on gender identity and sexuality, according to The Texas Tribune.
“Um, I just have a question because I’m not entirely sure this is legal to be teaching,” the female asked in the video referred to by Davis. “Because according to our president, there’s only two genders…. And this also very much goes against not only myself, but a lot of people’s religious beliefs.”
McCoul was eventually fired over what the university claimed was teaching content inconsistent with her own course’s description.
A statement from former Texas A&M President Mark A. Welsh III, who recently stepped down from his role, addressed the controversy in a post last month on Texas A&M’s X account.
“I learned this afternoon that key leaders in the College of Arts and Sciences approved plans to continue teaching course content that was not consistent with the course’s published description,” Welsh said. “As a result, I directed the provost to remove the dean and department head from their administrative positions, effective immediately.”

You need to cite Babylon Bee if the article comes from them, and, OBVIOUSLY, this article originated from them.
Intersex is a biological condition and is a birth defect. It’s not a social phenomenon. They should have someone with life sciences education teaching the class.
I can relate to this professor. I really feel her pain.
Because I taught freshman physics for a time.
Those nazis forced me to teach E = mc2.

I don’t know if you guys didn’t read the article but this person is NOT a transsexual. This person is intersex. Biologically this person has XY chromosomes but was born with female genitalia. It is rare but it does happen. By physical appearance this person is female, but male genetically.
That said there is no need to lie. There are two genders, but this person has characteristics of both. That’s how to teach it without lying

Colleges need to get rid of all the useless curricula and the worthless teachers that run them.
Studies should be limited to curricula that teach useful knowledge and skills, like math, medicine, accounting, engineering, etc.
Just as we are forced to accept that gender is fluid. It’s very telling by how hard the left fights this to keep this lie alive. Thats usually equal to the enormity of the lie. This is what we knew would happen if homo marriage was accepted as “normal”. I will fight it until my dying day.

There are two sexes. Gender is a literary construct and there are either 3 or 4 depending on your point of view.
Normal people have only one of two sexes. Intersex is real but not normal.

People are also born with limb defects or losses. There are about 5 of those for every 10,000 people. We do not consider those people to be “normal”. They are people who had the misfortune to be born with a birth defect.
