Ironically, by labeling Trump’s actions as “revenge”, Mr. Comey unintentionally indicts himself.
Last week a Grand Jury indicted former FBI Director James Comey on charges of lying to Congress and obstructing a congressional hearing. Comey, unsurprisingly, claimed innocence and insisted the charges against him were nothing more than Donald Trump taking “revenge.”
Many other Democrats have said the same: Trump is out for revenge!
It’s an old refrain. Democrats have been accusing Donald Trump of seeking revenge since he was re-elected. For example, November 6th, 2024, the day after the election, Susan Glasser wrote “Donald Trump’s Revenge” in the New Yorker. On April 7th, 2025, The New York Times ran with the headline “In Trump’s Second Term Retribution Comes in Many Forms” with the opening sentence reading “President Trump’s campaign to exact revenge against his perceived foes….” And a March 30, 2025 article in The Guardian reads, “Revenge is his number one motivation: how Trump is waging war on the media.”
In response to the FBI raid on former National Security Advisor John Bolton’s home last August, The New York Times editorial board wrote “ Trump gets his revenge on John Bolton. Who’s next?” The Washington Post editorial board opined “FBI raid targeting Bolton crossed a line in the Trump revenge campaign.” And, Nicholas Riccardi of the AP recently wrote “Trump ran on a promise of revenge. Now he’s making good on it.”
“Revenge” appears to be a key Democrat talking point these days.
Of course none of these Democrat “journalists” or politicians considered either the early morning raid on Mar-a-Lago or the far-fetched criminal indictments of Trump as “revenge.” Nor is the attempted assassination of Trump at Butler seen as an act of revenge. I would say Trump is giving them some karma.
Some things cannot be forgiven nor forgotten.
Simple, if democrats do it , it is justice. If Republicans do it, it is revenge.
Karma is running over their dogma.
Democrat’s abuse was based on lies.
It’s comparable to someone who makes a false call to police in order to “swat” someone.
Prosecuting the one making the false report is justice not revenge.
Not prosecuting the swatter leads to more swatting.
Trump is a successful person in every way. Successful people don’t work with, in or around revenge. It’s a waste of time and energy
Same time, he doesn’t spend a second wondering whether anyone will interpret his actions against anyone in his way who may have hurt him or whomever he works on behalf of, will be interpreted as revenge. It isn’t. But he doesn’t care if people perceive it that way…if they want to waste time and attention. Doesn’t bother him

The MSM ALWAYS tries to re-spin the narrative, to deflect from their guilt.
Same thing he gave the NYC construction vendors who thought they knew better than him.
These are no better than the 2-bit TEMU-Mafia types that think they are wise-guys and could put one over on Trump.
That never worked out; on-time and under budget.

In the end, this will be a return to the Rule of Law for \We the People\.

I think of Letitia James and how she ran on’ I am gonna get Trump NO MATTER WHAT I HAVE TO DO” to cheering and determined crowds and how NY actually CHANGED THE LAWS to get rid of the statute of limitations and turning a simple misdemeanor charge, which was a reach anyway, into a FELONY
AND THEN charging an additional felony for EACH TIME his lawyer paid a scheduled payment plan.
Then I think, you get what you give. Buckle up, buttercups. And I mean LITERALLY. And don’t drop the soap at your final destinations.
And, by the way, NY, you have what you deserve coming to you if you vote in that muslim, 25 yrs after his people took shots at our country and murdered almost 3000 Americans and visitors.
Are revenge and justice dichotomous? That’s the question.
