On Tuesday, Violet Affleck stood before the United Nations in New York City with a very important message:
Violet Affleck, the 19-year-old daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, rants about "long COVID" and bringing back masks at the United Nations General Assembly
"I am furious... It is neglect of the highest order to look children in the eyes and say, 'We knew how to protect you, and we didn't do it.' We have access to a technology [points to mask on her face] to prevent airborne disease. Something that millions of our ancestors and millions of people around the world today would kill for, and we refuse to use it."
With a serious face, Affleck told international heads of state, and I quote,
We can recognize filtered air as a human right.
The comments were made during a "High-Level Side Event" at the U.N.'s General Assembly called "Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action."
The event described itself this way:
High-level speakers from government, UN agencies, academia, healthcare, education, policy, sustainability, and industry will gather to share insights, experience, and diverse perspectives on how they are approaching indoor air quality, noting this is currently a gap in most public health frameworks.
There was no reason given as to why a 19-year-old daughter of actors would meet the criteria of sharing expert testimony before world leaders.
In 2020, I had to sit for proctored exam for the Security+ certification. I studied for weeks and paid out of pocket $349 for the exam. I arrived to discover that I would be compelled to wear a mask while taking the exam. It did limit my oxygen, it fogged my glasses and distracted my attention. I soldiered though it, but I was not a happy camper.
Let me drop a fart bomb near her and show how well that masks works, lol. Beer and brussel sprouts, worse than tear gas!
