On Tuesday, Violet Affleck stood before the United Nations in New York City with a very important message:
Violet Affleck, the 19-year-old daughter of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, rants about "long COVID" and bringing back masks at the United Nations General Assembly
"I am furious... It is neglect of the highest order to look children in the eyes and say, 'We knew how to protect you, and we didn't do it.' We have access to a technology [points to mask on her face] to prevent airborne disease. Something that millions of our ancestors and millions of people around the world today would kill for, and we refuse to use it."
With a serious face, Affleck told international heads of state, and I quote,
We can recognize filtered air as a human right.
The comments were made during a "High-Level Side Event" at the U.N.'s General Assembly called "Healthy Indoor Air: A Global Call to Action."
The event described itself this way:
High-level speakers from government, UN agencies, academia, healthcare, education, policy, sustainability, and industry will gather to share insights, experience, and diverse perspectives on how they are approaching indoor air quality, noting this is currently a gap in most public health frameworks.
There was no reason given as to why a 19-year-old daughter of actors would meet the criteria of sharing expert testimony before world leaders.

Seriously. Seems like every kid of prominent Hollywood actors we hear about is completely nuts (e.g., trans, addicted to drugs, covered with tats etc etc). If there’s a non-weird one out there we’re not hearing about them. Even a relativey normal guy like Dana Carvey had a kid who fatally overdosed on drugs.
Mark Wahlberg was smart to take his brood and get the hell out of there.

Funny thing. I had a gay friend (now deceased) in the 80’s, that would wear a surgical mask and pour amyl nitrate onto it for a continuous intense experience. When he showed up at a party wearing his mask, he became pure Dennis Hopper.

The whole mask thing during the pandemic was feel-good theater. Fauci, and other professionals knew this all the time but wanted to give the impression that the government was “doing something” about a disease that objectively the only control mechanism was a vaccine of limited effectiveness, and waiting for the pandemic to run its course.
