With all of the things happening in the world THIS is what is being written about.
I've tried to find phosphate-free soaps, which is better on the skin. But it's not easy. Grandpa Soap Company has several phosphate-free products, but you pay for them.
I live in Florida.

Same for Houston, where I lived for a couple of years. I stayed wet all day from the shower until November.

I think vitamin c deactivates chlorine. There are accessories you can connect to your shower that add vitamin c to the water.
I had a boss that would wake up hung over from the night before, every morning. He once commented about my wet hair in the morning, and said I should shower at night, like he did. I said it wouldn’t matter, because I’d gone out and run a few miles before work, and I’d have to shower again, anyway. He looked at me like I was insane.
In the immortal words of Redd Foxx, you can go two or three days without washing your armpits, but you got to wash your a-hole everyday.
I was an RN. Best twice, sometimes 3x a day. Have a couple extra scrubs for tough days and change of clothes...never know.
When I did construction it was once in evening but hot days we’d continuously douse with water...oh and surfing before and after work.
