Liberals are not liking it that Jimmy Kimmel lost his megaphone after telling vicious lies regarding Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Fox News reports that defending decency from Kimmel evokes “disdain and disgust” among Democrats:
“I’m not sure who deserves more disdain and disgust: Trump and the FCC for their blatant violation of the Constitution or Disney and Nexstar for sacrificing their values and folding to a wannabe Mob Boss and his authoritarian goons,” Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., reacted
On behalf of the liberal establishment media, Brian Stelter squeaks,
“[T]his really does have a chilling effect across the American media.”
When it comes to deliberately disseminating malicious lies, let’s hope so.
Former CNN analyst and New Yorker staff writer Jeffrey Toobin, best known for masturbating on camera during a Zoom call, confirms that Kimmel’s dishonest spin falls within the liberal mainstream:
Toobin insisted Kimmel’s critics were “looking for reasons” to get him and “they manufactured one out of something that is, you know, hardly a dramatic departure from what a lot of people are saying.”
A lot of people in liberal media circles, anyway.
In possibly his most absurd take ever, former CNN anchor Jim Acosta called the conspicuously vile Kimmel a “class act.”
Wading still deeper into the moonbat fever swamps,
MSNBC host Chris Hayes called it “the latest chapter in Donald Trump’s ongoing campaign to crack down on free speech, dominate the media and essentially render the First Amendment meaningless.” His primetime colleague Jen Psaki called it a “pretty watershed moment.”
The stopped clock Psaki is correct: Charlie Kirk’s assassination, liberals’ reaction to it, and patriots’ reaction to their reaction do constitute a watershed moment.
MSNBC’s former top anchor Keith Olbermann doubles down on Kimmel’s outlandish falsehoods, shrieking:
“Kimmel off air for truth telling about Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, MAGA exploitation of his death.”
Sinclair is the largest ABC affiliate group. It not only put the kibosh on Kimmel but plans a 1-hour tribute to Charlie Kirk for Kimmel’s spot on Friday. Olbermann is not pleased:
“Burn in hell, Sinclair. Alongside Charlie Kirk.”
Letting bygones by bygones so we can unite with the likes of Keith Olbermann is not an option.
Well, since you’ll be there. I doubt very much you’ll see Charlie there.
Everyone should stop giving any attention to Olbermann. He makes outrageous statements to get in the news. Its all he has left. So deny him the oxygen.
Yes, indeed. That fool probably gets more attention here than anywhere else. Same goes for those hags on The View.
I could do without seeing this drivel here since liberals are a monolith and they all say the same damn thing. I’ve heard that Charlie should burn in hell a thousand times over now so I don’t need to know that this scumbag said it too.
File this one right next to "Can't we all just get along..."
It is interesting that people who do not believe in God or heaven or hell wish people to “burn in hell”.
Not to mention—the article does not answer the headline’s question.
To think Katy Tur had to let this guy bang her for her MSDNC job.
I am so glad the democrats realized that their rhetoric was causing issues and toned it down to make peace. (obvious sarcasm)
is OlberHole still alive???
Why is this guy even famous now? He just used to be some hack on ESPN way back in the day.
This creep is straight up nuts.
I think the bolded portion is pretty important; you left off that part. This author definitely does not want to unite with Olberweenie.
Poor KO will have to spend the next three months in the burn ward.
completely agree with you and the author
I was merely comparing two (naively absurd) statements
Oh, whew. Thank you, lol!
