The way the death penalty is carried out, unless Tyler Robinson does like Tim McVeigh and does not appeal the sentence, there will be decades of appeals. A few months ago, Florida executed a man who had killed two people in the 1990s. He was 62 years old at the time of execution, in other words he had a reasonably long life span and was supported by the taxpayers for 30 years.

Murder rates were far lower when the states executed convicted prisoners within a year of their sentencing. Even if capital punishment were not a deterrent, it is justified as the civil magistrate is given the power of the sword, as Romans 13 states.

There’s no easy way to say this, but I think the increasing derangement among women, especially as evidenced by public rage stems from their self-loathing due to their moral degradation - not a small element of which is abortion (often multiple). Unhinged, inordinate rage is a by-product of guilt or fear (or both).

I don’t have a problem with a death sentence, but I think I’d rather see him in solitary equipped with a video monitor playing a constant loop of Charlie’s debates.
