Charlize Theron's car was reportedly stolen from her Los Angeles home earlier this week on Thursday as she became the latest victim of the city's crime spree.
The incident occurred on Thursday when an individual made their way onto the 50-year-old Oscar winner's property through an open gate, sources with the LAPD told NBC4 Investigates.
The suspect proceeded to steal a BMW and at the time, the key fob had been inside the vehicle.
LAPD were able to track down the actress's car amid their search for the suspect involved in the theft.
Daily Mail has reached out to Theron's reps for comment.
The Hollywood star is the latest celebrity to be affected by the mounting crime in Los Angeles - with Tracee Ellis Ross and Brad Pitt also being recent victims.

Now that crime is starting to affect the government employees and their families and the elites like Charlize Theron I’ll bet calls for stricter law enforcement and punishment will increase.

Many stolen BMWs are shipped overseas. Having one less of those ahole drivers on the street here is all to the good.
